I've seen a few around, none that I can actually recommend though. Been a bit leary of trying any since using one on a site a few years back (non porn) and the bugger (script) would show other site banners but every click on one took you back to the guy that setup the exchange ... like duh.

Stumbled over this on another board http://www.bannerxxx.com.ar/ but couldn't see where it states just what 10 categories it has available, so don't know if gay is an option.

Did find this though http://www.eschew.net/scripts/phpbe/2.0/ a banner exchange script. Maybe you or someone else on GWW would want to actually start up a good banner exchange program for gay marketing.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

I closed down all of our banner, button and text link exchanges a few months ago because the CTRs were getting crazy, less than 1 click for every 1000 impressions.. In essence, they have become worthless on surfer traffic over the last 1-2 years except for those sites that are well branded in the eyes of our surfers.

That being said, if you can find a decent 'honest' exchange still running, you might find you do well with it so long as you constantly update your banner every month and dont have the exchange code in a prominent placement on your sites.. Hide it away somewhere that gets enough traffic to generate credits for your site but where surfers wont be clicking on the exchange code and leaving your site

B2B exchanges, is another story completely and im currently putting together the basics of a B2B banner exchange right now as it happens, specifically for gay traffic

    Regards,

    Lee

years ago we used to do banner exchanges. what i figured out pretty quickly is a banner exchange is:

    1. a great way to wake up and find things on your site you strongly don't allow or endorse. words or phrases you don't allow that are against the rules of the banner exchange often found their way onto the banners.

    2. a great way to get cheated as many people who use them work hard to try and find the best way to hide the banner while allowing for many impressions.
