How Many Shows Do You Plan On Attending Next Year?

Ive just been talking to someone who was telling me that there are just to many shows taking place in the industry these days and it would appear that there is a show happening at least once a month these days so, from that viewpoint i would have to agree.

That being said, how many shows next year do you plan on attending and why?

I honestly have to say at this moment in time it looks like we will be attending 1 show next year, although to be fair, we havent decided which one as yet, Vegas is definately out for us next year so we wont be going to that one because we've just had enough of Vegas to last a lifetime... When it comes to the 'adult' side of things.

So how many of the shows do you see yourselves attending next year and why?

Vegas is out for sure.

Phoenix is a probablilty, and Florida is a maybe.

We'll see how the gay one here goes before committing for next year.

We'll definitely do Vegas AEE for the video part of our business. Not sure what we'll do for the internet segment of the biz.

I am pretty sure I am going to Vegas and Florida Internext, definitely the Phoenix Forum(s), XBiz Las Vegas, Costa Rica Bash, Webmaster Access if it is in Toronto and Amsterdam and maybe something in Berlin.

I think that means I am cutting back!

Yes I believe we did, but not enough to justify the time/expense.

In fact a very well known site was one of our biggest contacts at one of the shows and while we have profited nicely with our relationship over the years, without warning they suddenly stopped paying.

That's probably a whole other thread I will need to start if I don't hear back from them soon.

I always wondered that about going to shows. Since I never went to webmaster boards until I moved to Australia, going to a show meant flying half way around the world 14 hours to attend.

When I move back to the states in the next couple of years I'll have to goto a few shows and see how I go.
