funny thing is that manhole covers are actually going missing in a number of poorer countries (including Panama) as metal prices continue to rise. Did you hear that pennies minted in the UK before about 5 or 6 years ago are now worth more than 1 cent if they are melted down and the copper is extracted? Although its illegal to destroy England's currency, its happening all over the country.
