What Do You Look For In A Font?

Whenever you do graphics type work that involves text, how do you go about choosing the right font to use for the site?

Do you tend to work your way through a list of fonts that you already have or, do you have specific type of font in mind before you start the work itself?

I work my way through my list of fonts.

after i have the site layout, i see what type of fonts go best with it and work from there.
