So i have just been speaking to someone about problems they are having getting a sponsor to convert, i tried all the usual things to find out why they werent converting as well as they had been and came to the conclusion that it was because this guy had been adding to many sponsor ads to his pages.
Without going into to much detail, last period he was converting lets say at 1:400 on this one sponsor who he has used for years now, this period, so far, he's converting at 1:1000+
Now, the reason i came to suspect he was converting low was because he told me he recently signed up for some new programs and that they were selling around 1:600 off the same pages his previous sponsor was doing 1:400 on.
So that got me thinking, is there such as thing as to many sponsor links on our sites? If so, what do you think the perfect balance of sponsor links and content is?
