That's really funny. Speaking of Kathy Griffin and porn, did you guys see the one where she had made a deal with Star magazine to lose so much weight in a few weeks? This pretty blonde interviewer from Star came over and during the interview all she could do was talk about herself. This became the main joke of that segment. Well, I'm watching this and then realized all of a sudden that I've seen this girl somewhere before. Then it hit me. She's the star of several adult films under Sinister Cinema, a company that I used to do soundtracks for. Here is this girl who's supposed to be a reporter for the Star and I've written the music that plays while she's having sex! Now, I don't know, maybe she's left porn and is actually working for Star magazine. Or maybe she's an actress in Hollywood and got a bit part acting as a reporter on a "reality" show.

Nope... she writes SOME but has writers as well. Actually Tony Tipoli (the cutie I was talking about ) just recently had a falling out with her. Hopefully they will mend fences because they made a great team.

Fascinating article. He said that she new about her husband's stealing her money before the show even aired but they had to do it because they were under contract. So imagine being with someone whom you know has stolen from you and having to pretend to be this loving couple onscreen while your life is falling apart. It has to be crazy.

Too bad a lot of the D-List reality show was all a setup and fairly fake, but I guess thats "reality" tv for you

Frankly... I would like to see her become a Scientologist - that shit would have been crazy!
You know what, she's a pretty good actress because the show looked real. She did a great job of it. And you know, it was fun. And that was the point of it, right? I'm sure if it wasn't augmented with actors and scripted scenes it would be boring as hell, so why not make it fun? Besides, I don't know if it really was meant to be an actual reality show or more like a parody of her life.
I just saw a "reality" one off show about old TV sitcom stars on TV Land. It's called "Living In TV Land". It was about Sherman Hemsley from The Jeffersons and at the beginning he's talking to that lady who played his maid, I can't remember her name, but she suggests he throw a dinner party and when he does it includes all these people who had been in his different shows over the years. Now, come on. People don't just happen to have spontaneous reunion dinner parties on the spurr of the moment. I don't think Reality TV is real at all.
Speaking of which, have any of you seen "Shock Treatment? It was supposed to be a sequel to Rocky Horror, but it doesn't really have much at all to do with it. The reason I bring it up is because the plot of the movie has Brad and Janet, now married, living in Denton where the whole town has become a giant TV studio and all of the main character's lives have become TV shows. This was 1981, many years before shows like "The Real World" made reality TV an actual genre. It just came out on DVD and I highly recommend it. The songs are 80's new wave and really fun. But one word of warning, if you are a Rocky Horror fan and have not seen it yet, try not to compare it or you will totally hate it. It's nothing at all like Rocky, but there are a bunch of in-jokes and you can see props from Rocky spattered throughout the sets.
