What Is The Highest PR You Have Seen On A Site?

So i was just wondering what the highest PageRank you have seen on a website, both for an adult site and a non-adult site?

I think the highest ive seen is PR6 for an adult site and a PR 9 on the Paypal site.

Has anyone seen sites with higher Pagerankings than that before and if so, which ones?

BillysPervWebsite.com used to have a PR9 (see http://forums.gaywidewebmasters.com/...t=billyslinks). Now BPW has PR 0 , hmmm????

I'm pretty sure that Billy's PR isn't a legitimate rank.

In fact, I'm now showing a PR0. It looks like google slapped them for doing something under-handed. But they sure got themselves a lot of incoming links with the faked PR9 before they got slapped.

Do a google search for "Billy's Perv" and at least for the first few pages you will see only sites linking to Billy's but not billyspervwebsite.com itself.

I haven't seen anyone post any adult sites other than Billy's.

Boyfunk is the best of our group, it has a PR 5.

That's been a factoid since the PR was established.

I miss the good ol' days when yahoo and dmoz were 10s.

The highest PR I ever had was about four years ago when www.texascooking.com's front page had a PR 7. But as more websites enter the overall index, the logarithim means that websites will cluster into the middle numbers, with the upper and lower limits containing fewer and fewer sites.

I know a PR 9 site that you can post on, including clickable URL's, and for free.

I'm waiting until my next site redesign is complete before I use it myself. I know one person that used it and google started indexing his site like crazy and he got high rankings. He stumbled on it and didn't know what was causing all the Google activity, but I know :innocent:
