Hi Everyone-
I just wanted to introduce myself real quick because this is my first time to this board. Some quick info about me...
-I'm from Boston, MA USA.
-This is my 2nd year being an adult webmaster. (mostly gay niche)
-Other industries I've spent more time in are hosting, online pharmaceuticals (sighs), and spy/computer monitoring software.
I'm ridiculous, honest, knowledgeable, and here to network like everyone else. I look forward to getting to know and doing business with some of you.

Right now I just have 1 site up that is doing revsharing and am in the works for many more. It's url removed by request
I am just now starting to put money into this industry after seeing how little work can yield awesome results. It took a little while for me to get over the whole "morality of selling porn" nonsense. Someone has to make money off of it right? :cheerleader:

Can I let you in on a little secret? Most of us don't refer to the gay market as "the gay niche". It's the same as saying "the straight niche". Sorry. That's a pet peeve of mine.
What niches in the gay market are you working with now?

Right now I'm working with teens, twinks, and cross-generational is what I think it's called (man/twink). Right now I'm just getting into where I see the best convertion rates.

I usually stay out of threads when someone has young content on their sites. I'm the first to admit that I'm not good at determining the age of models. See this is a perfect display of my n00biness. I didn't realize that type of porn was faux pas in this industry. Before promoting BucksFactory I checked out their information and the custodian of records did respond to my e-mail. At one point I did come across a page where the models pictures were taken with their ID's adjacent to their faces. The conversion rates have been 1:20 or lower weeks in a row...how much proof do I need to justify profit? Morally, I have enough. I have donated to and promote ASACP. And honestly, I would probably go to jail for killing anyone who laid a hand on a kid I know. I do this for money and unless there is evidence to the contrary about any of those models I have no shame in promoting them.
That's just how I feel, but I still respect anyone else who feels differently. :thumbsup:

this type of porn is not faux pas - we have several well-known twink producers right here on this board. people are trying to tell you that they feel your models may be iffy as in under 18. remember, it only takes about 2 minutes to fix an i.d. in photoshop to be any age so don't trust i.d. unless you get it from someone you know and trust - trust your own eyes.
a single model here and there who looks maybe a little young for 18 could be fine. sammy case is a an example there. but a site full of models who look 14 or 15 are very unlikely to be 18 no matter what their i.d. says...

On the topic of Mike18 i beleive CCBill also stopped processing for that site because they to felt the site was 'questionable'.
