    Problems with brightness (Videos)

    Hi guys,

I just got a new computer and i'm having problems with i guess the brightness.

I'm working on videos in Vegas and the quality looks great. Once i render the videos and watch them with Windows Media Player or whatever players, the videos look extremely dark. Same thing happens if i watch video previews online. I don't understand what's wrong.

    Anybody could help me please?

Not sure why that would happen but I thought I would bump this so maybe someone could help you.

    Thanks,
    Mark

could be a problem with settings somewhere - why not show a few vidcaps of the video and see if they look dark to us? if they do, maybe the vids should be brightened in processing.

    Thanks guys
I actually can see the videos very well with Vegas. It's only messed up when i use Windows media player or when i watch an online preview video. it's probably something to do with my video card settings, but just can't find what.

Vegas has video filters that you can use to adjust the brightness. Try making it a little brighter or changing the contrast and then rendering.
