How much content for a single model site?

How much content would you put on a single model site?

Depends on what your business model is going to be in all honesty.

If you want to bang out a bunch of different solo model sites, then realistically, you should shoot a minimum of 20 photo sets of each model along with some movies.

If you want to launch a single site, then start off with enough content to see you through a month or two of updates then do fresh shoots every week at least, again, with movies.

There are several sponsors right now that only shoot 30 sets of content and 10 movies and have those same sets rotated through their solo site members area based on when the member joined, they make a decent amount of money but, because they have limited content, their rebilling typically ends at month 3 or 4.

    Lee

Couple pieces of advice i can offer

-- Try to have a bunch of content held back so that you have at least 6 months or a year's worth of material once the site goes live. Even the most reliable twink models can be remarkably flaky.

-- You want to have a good amount of content up there when the site launches (or else have plugins or something) so your members feel they're getting good value

-- Don't shit it out for the sake of shitting it out. You might make some sales, but you won't have much in the way of rebills.

-- The more the model (or someone who can sound like him/her) is actively involved in blogs, etc, the more the members will feel connected.

The model would be myself (doing it as a model site so i can get it up with income coming in)... Other content that I have shot of other models would be on there...

I'd like to think I could be reliable for my own site! :broccoli:

i'd say start with 12 videos with vidcaps or pics, plus a few short things of you not in action but talking to the members. and don't forget a blog or diary! more is better, btw. and if you appear on dvd's that can be used, you can use them, too, as starter content.

Yipee, a personal amateur solo guy (plus friends) site...these are great! Even though you are the main performer, it will be difficult to constantly produce new content (burnout factor), so definitely get plenty of content ready in advance for those times. I remember with personal webcam sites how the initial excitement produces lots of shows for a few months, then things typically "peter" out over time.

I second basschicks suggestion about diary, interaction with members/prospects, perhaps a forum. Surfers love that stuff!
