NORAD have also scrambled jets across several major cities because of this.

I dont know but this could be more than what we're being told right now, especially since the emrgency services on the scene atm arent doing a whole lot of anything.

    Regards,

Does anyone else smell a Karl Rove engineered diversion?

It's' just a lonely lil' plane smacking the ground too hard, ridding the world of just one of the oh so many over-paid baseball players.
Kryst - does anybody even watch that "sport"?

I've wondered all my life why it's called "America's Passtime". I mean I could play it after downing Nyquil.

I feel sorry for folks, living in NY, that are frightened everytime they see or read about a plane going down.
    Living in fear must suck!

LOL - yah, I hear that! They (fans of the sport) keep telling me how it's all about the numbers [slash] it's a numbers game.

Huh? Numbers like how times I nod off per inning?
Or, is it how many times one horks a loogie.
Or, is it how many times they scratch their :balls: ?

Even after many years of pitching hardball (or "fast"), and the fact that I find math to be fun, I still can not get in to th@ "game"! I do not see this relation to numbers, at all. Unless they are talking about memorizing statistics.

I am a participant, not a fan, so that may be the problem.
    Also, to each their own!

This was a very sad occurrance, especially because he had a wife and kid. I think it's a little bit in poor taste to say "another dumb jock bites the dust."

This would not be the first, nor will it be the last, time I've been accused of having poor taste.
Either way, it is my honest opinion.
