Description Writing - Hints

Hi all,

I get a lot of odd things submitted in description fields on my link list and TGP. I thought I might share some thoughts and helpful hints, if anyone's reading.

1. "gay" should not be used as a noun, i.e. Horny gay jacks off. It's derrogatory.

2. "gay" isn't even really needed as an adjective, i.e. Gay guy sucks cock. Most of the people surfing a gay link list or TGP are gay and assume the content is gay.

3. "dong" is not a word I have ever called my cock. Using it in a description I would only ever use it with the word "donkey", i.e. Straight jock jacks his donkey dong dick.

4. It's masturbate, not masterbate.

5. It's threesome, not trinity. Trinity refers to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, not bisexual threesomes.

6. I have never called my ass a "back door," nor have I ever told a man to "fuck my back door."

7. Just because he's hairy doesn't make him a "bear."

8. Anyone who weighs less than 150 pounds can not be called a hunk.

Oh yeah, "vascular" I don't know what it means, but it seems to pertain to "muscular" guys. I'd use "muscular" instead. I think "vascular" has to do with the heart.

I do agree with the rest of your list. I too hate seeing sites, containing gay content, with the title 'gay', such as Gay Twinks, unless they are stating the guy is happy; young looking; thin and with out body hair.


However, much of the other stuff does not bother me, as I love playing with words, and making people guess at what I am going on about.

Dzinerbear - i've just discovered it's possible to agree with someone MORE than 100%. sometimes i go to new paysites and find myself literally cringing with discomfort as i see the AWFUL things programs write or pay to have written.

here's a couple descriptions being used by review sites for link exchanges you may not have seen yet:

"Need to put your hard Quiver bone against something of the same sex? Then Men Over 30 will show you how it's done. Aged to porn flawlessness watch their joy sticks pounce out at you."

and here's another one from the same folks:

are we supposed to be turned on now???? a few times i read their descriptions and found that i actually had no idea of what they were talking about

This bugs me more than anything else i see in porn. I doubt the people who write it are so stupid that they cant grasp that point. They can at least read and write, so why not read a little something about the people their selling too.

many of the people i talk to use adjectives as nouns and don't get the point easily. asians, jews, etc. the only way i can make the point is to tell them that unless you also say "straights", you shouldn't say "gays".

and yet some straight people i know ARE beginning to say straights without my intervention.

yeah i agree. it also bugs me to here asians jews etc. the one that really winds me up is "blacks". to me thats just plain vile.
