ANOTHER DVD pirating group...

Just received this from one of our members... we're reporting it, but any of you who produce DVDs would be well advised to check out these sites (which I'm not familiar with) to see if your stuff is being pirated.

ooh goody! I just heard from our member that apparently the guy doing this is also pirating Titan stuff.

Knowing that they have resources we don't have to fight this sort of thing, I've suggested that our member report the infringement directly to Titan, and hopefully they will also see it here.

looks like Active Duty, All Worlds Video, Titan Movies, Jocks Studios, Kristin Bjorn, Falcon has a ton up there... doesn't look like many were left out..

there are a few people on the groups that appear to be reappearing quite frequently with pirated movies... alot of them even link to TLA so that you can read about the film before downloading it...

The email address of the offenders are posted in the group, which makes it easy to track them...

It's very similar to what the music industry went through with Napster. They cried and cried about music being traded, then took the hint and offered it commercially. iTunes is now huge.

Name one adult paysite that offers a 750 MB DVD rip in XVid AVI format. There are none.

And I don't want to hear about the VOD sites either. Even their top quality options are lackluster compared to what video technology is available, and in use among traders.

Perhaps simply getting your lawyer to contact them will get them to pull you work. Would they take the risk?

This sucks and i hope you get it sorted.

Oh, they pulled the offending title within about an hour of my emailing them. Nobody intelligent will ignore a properly prepared DMCA notice.

It's just a bigger issue because so many other studios materials are pirated there.
