I have to say, im going to side with the government on this one, parents ARE stupid when it comes to computers and the interweb, its common knowledge that almost any 5 year old knows more about PCs than their parents do these days yet, despite the government acknowledging the fact most parents are idiots when it comes to the use of filters and other methods of protecting children online, they would rather spend millions of tax-payers dollars on laws that restrict free speech than actually educating parents about how to utilize the vast array of free tools available to them to protect their own children.

The subject field of this thread was incorrect. It's not a new law. It's just newly being challenged is what I meant to say.

and it should be challenged. funny how the only thing no part of the gov wants is to keep kids in a kid safe area - they always prefer to challenge adults' free speech in some way instead
