Don't worry about it too much. Your members will let you know by their rebilling. Besides, you can alway add leased content/plug-ins to fill it out.

My rule of thumb - a new page a day keeps a real job away.

    Good luck!

Remember that when someone pays to visit your site, they make your site their primary spot for porn until the membership expires. Unless they have many paid subscriptions to many different sites, they will visit yours looking for hot images and movies every night or every other night.

Since I am contemplating doing the same thing next year, here are a few things I need to consider:

1- Is this a niche site that caters to only one niche, or a few? If it's only one, you'd have to distinguish between a niche and a fetish. Fetishes are usually very concentrated on one area, because the definition of a fetish means that someone has difficulty reaching orgasm without it. Therefore, don't say your site "features" bare feet, only for the buyer to see a few token barefoot shots in each set. You will be seeing an increase in your chargeback ratio.

2- If you select a few niches to focus on, make sure they are treated equally in order to please all members. Using feet again, if you also feature leather and hairy men, be sure to choose leather and hairy photos that also have foot content. Otherwise, buy separate content with a heavy foot focus to make them happy. Members like to see thier own little dedicated area that caters to them rather than having to search the whole site for something to find.

3- Be sure to include an equal amount of photos and videos. I used to hate photos and go straight for the video, but now my tastes have changed and photos let me use my imagination rather than having to accept what the actors are doing in the video. If you have thousands of images but only 20-25 videos, it will disappoint many and vice versa.

4- If you are just starting out, hopefully you have an idea of who you want to target. I know who my audience is because I have been a member of the adult groups on Yahoo and Google for years. I will be supplying content that I personally feel is lacking and needs more attention. Do a search for your type of niche content. If thousands of pages come up with only a simple keyword search, then avoid it if it looks too popular and saturated. If you need to specify advanced keyword combinations and deep searches to get what you want, then it may be a better target to go after. This is where SEO and Adword knowledge comes into play. Know your market and know what the market already has or is missing.

5- Based on number 4 above, that means: You can get more traffic and more surfers to your site because the niche is popular, but your join/conversion ratio may be low (1:500). You'd need to really promote the site and have a good tour to improve that. On the other hand, if your niche is specific (microniche), you won't get the high traffic to your site, but the traffic that does get there will more easily buy your membership. You may convert at 1:100 or even better!

The difference - 10,000 surfers yeilds 20 paid memberships for a saturated niche. Whereas 20 paid memberships of the harder to find niche only requires 2,000 surfers. A huge difference.
