What do you think of the Playgirl tour?

Hi guys,

I'm working on a project and I could use your input. What do you think of the Playgirl tour? What would you need to see on a gay-specific Playgirl tour that you think would help you sell it?

Playgirl name aside, it's a sharp looking tour but lacking in content. Hopefully the name makes up for that.

As for a gay theme... I would say something with a lot of class. Definitely nothing that's stereotypically gay. A more adult version of AllAmericanGuys, but not as raunchy as MenAtPlay.

I've never really been into the Playgirl centerfold type of man. WAY too over-scrubbed and prissy and shaven for my tastes. Never got into Chippendale dancers either.

Those tours are nice, though. Very sleek and clean in the design. Good stuff.

The Randy Blue Guys got together and did an event at HOT DOG and from a promoter POV, it looks amazing, I have heard from MANY sources it was an incredible night, and I , for one, would be proud to take it all over.

I was suggesting an alternate event geared towards GAY MEN (as was suggested)... 1000% not trying to be rude (especially not to Blue).. but if you think my comment was rude?...wow..maybe you are reading it wrong.,.. Just that a national tour for Men run by Men...not a bunch of guys dancing for Woment in Str8 clubs, just suggesting an option for Gay Men....I have never been slammed on this board...wow..now I feel like family...(LOL)....Just suggesting..Playgirl is a magazine geared towards women....and there are other options for gay men to keep with gay men.

Michael was requesting help and opinions about a legitimate problem and you posted a totally ridiculous response. We all love RandyBlue here but there are far better places to post 'news' about these events than in someone else's thread.

Guys, I think I see what happened here. This is just a miscommunication and the culprit is the word "Tour".

FabScout is a model scout and not so much an actual webmaster. He is involved in the biz but not to the capacity of designing websites. I'm guessing he thought that your use of the word "Tour" was meant to say that Playgirl was doing a series of club events to promote the Playgirl site. So by bringing up our event he was merely trying to draw a parallel between a straight oriented event and one run by a gay company as an example.

FabScout, when webmasters use the word "Tour" they are talking about the free pages that are featured in most adult websites to entice the surfer to join up. It's the part of the site that usually says something like "Click here to see more" or "Free tour".

He was only trying to help, and not pimp out our event (but thank you for thinking of us, FabScout).
