175000th Post Contest Prize List + Rules Reminder

First of all i want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of the sponsors and companies who have gladly added prizes towards this contest. As such i would ask that you all check out the products and services they have to offer.

With that said here is what we currently have as prizes:

Current total prize pool = $7975

We also have several commitments from other companies to add prizes to the list however, at this moment in time, im not certain what they are going to be.

In order to be in with a chance at winning ALL of the above prizes, plus ones that are added at a later date, here are the rules for the contest:

1) No spam posts will count. In the event that a spam post (or post in the announcements forum) is the 175000th post the poster who makes the proceeding post (175001st) will be declared the winner.

2) In order to be eligable to win the 175000th post prize you MUST have been registered on our community before the 173000th post has been made and also have a minimum of 40 posts on the general discussion forum prior to the 174000th post being made. Any community members who does not meet these requirements, if they make the 175000th post will not be eligable to win the prize. This is so we can eliminate one off posters from winning a contest that the other community members who do work hard sharing knowledge and networking could win.

3) All GWW community members with the exception of Gary-Alan, Chris-Alan and, Myself are eligable to win the 175000th post contest.

4) All decisions made by GA Media employees or management are final in regards to the contest winner.

5) Finally, whilst we appreciate this is in effect a contest that may draw 'board whores' to our community forums that isnt what we are about as a 'community' excessives posts made by community members purely for the purpose of inflating your post count or getting your 'signature' viewed will instantly be disqualified from further participation in the 175000th post contest. Please respect our wishes to keep the GWW community primarily focused on business orientated discussions.

Now that you know the rules and have the full list of prizes that you can win we want to wish you all good luck and look forward to hitting the 175000th post.

In addition, if you or your company would like to add a prize to the list, please make a post in this thread detailing what you would like to add in addition to a dollar amount for your prize and i will get it added to the list

Does the spam rule mean that the selling forum posts will be excluded or are they eligible to win? Its just that some members only ever post there. Just wanted to be clear on this from the start as it may come up if the winning post is an anouncment forum post.

Actually how are you defining spam posts as some members legitimatly post anouncments every now and then on the main board, we dont always consider it spam though.

Its never come up to be honest LOL

That being said, if a member only posts in the announcements section and not in the general community categories, they wont have a post count that would make them eligable to win anyway as posts in that section of the community dont count towards a community members overall post count
