Anyone in Vegas?

Hey... if you live in Las Vegas, I have a question for you:

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON THERE THIS WEEKEND????

I have not been able to find a hotel to save my life! Every damn hotel is booked! EVERY SINGLE ONE! And the ones that aren't booked are asking for between $400 a night (Bellagio) to $700 a night (Ceaser's Palace).

Even Whiskey Pete's is booked, and that's 45 minutes away in Primm!!! Serously, I can't even find a Motel 6 that isn't completely booked-up.

I am supposed to be there Friday night until Sunday morning. Hell, I would even drive in on Saturday afternoon instead of Friday. I am there to do a radio show to promote our current movie and upcoming movie. Eddie Stone, Caleb Carter & Logan Robbins will be on the show with me. So I need 3 rooms to accomodate (because my new boyfriend is coming with me).

Anybody have ideas? I've been looking for 2 weeks anod now it's down to the wire.

I actually just found rooms on Orbitz at the Hampton Inn. $175 per room, per night. Not too shabby.

I've stayed at the Hampton in (on Tropicana I think). Looked close to the strip on the map, but it was not really walking distance (had to cross interstate to get to strip). If you have a car, a decent hotel then.

I dunno about anything in particular this weekend but I'm heading out to Vegas next weekend and a couple weeks ago, when I talked to my casino host about getting a room lined up, she mentioned it's insanely busy throughout all of Vegas during the month of November. There are a ton of business conventions and the like the first few weeks of November, because everyone tries to cram them in before the holidays. It's the last chance for a convention before Thanksgiving and Christmas, when everyone would rather stay home as well as spend money on gifts.

So, with November being such a busy convention month, as well as it being the last chance for many people to go to Vegas before having to prioritize holiday shopping over gambling, the first few weekends of Nov. are extremely busy in Vegas.

Not to mention the fact that a lot of rooms get held by the casinos and so the hotels can't give them out. Like, if you were to have gone to the Caesars website or even called their reservations on the phone to try and get a room for a Nov weekend, they've been fully booked and sold out since the summer. But when I called my host 2 weeks ago about getting a room, she had one for me right away.

Some of the resort/casinos will free up some weekend rooms late Thurs/early Fri when they can see they won't be comping them out, but they'll be pricey.

That's where I am staying. I am driving in with my bf tomorrow night and leaving Sunday. :-)

Hey Rocky,

I just got back from Vegas. I stayed at the Hard Rock but our room was booked awhile ago. I have no idea what is going on in Vegas. I didn't really see anything going on for the weekend. Good luck and have a Happy Birthday.
