Why does this site continue to load!

Can somebody tell me why this site doesn't stop loading?

I use firefox and the little wheel in the upper right corner keeps spinning and spinning and spinning and never stops!

What's going on? Anyone know? and yes, I have the latest and greatest versions of firefox for OSX.

This doesn't happen on any other site.

I have noticed that same thing too...the loading never stops...And sometimes I have to force quit FireFox becuase it wont completely quit when I command Q.

I also have the latest version of OS X and Firefox...WTF?

i have an older version of firefox and only have that problem once in a long while. maybe the new version is the problem...

It's probably trying to load a banner or something. Maybe your anti-virus or spyware blockers are trying to defeat the banners but they continue trying to load... just a wild guess. Btw, the site doesn't do that with IE.

It's the Same for me. I think it's the Animated Banners.

If you hit the stop icon it quits loading as well as quits the banner animations.

That's odd. Aren't they just gifs or jpgs? That shouldn't cause the brower to continue loading.

Those of you having problems, are you all using the same version of FireFox?

Firefox 1.5.0.8 here and the same thing happens here.

Using the same firefox version as Michael but looking at the bottom left I keep seeing this > waiting for 66.115.136.88... no matter which thread and the little circle does keep twirling... :morning:

Interesting, are you browsing a cached version?

Thats the old adserver IP which hasnt been online for almost 2 weeks now :eek:

I just did a check in the source code and the only place that ip actually shows up is in your post above.

Hmm that is odd because I do clear the cache, and did it just now and the little thingee stopped and no message though I'd wonder how a cached page showing new posts would exist... but me no techie, just blonde
