Heads up... newest name for DVD scammer
Hey, all,
Some months ago someone posted about the scammer who claims to "market adult DVDs to a customer list of 1.7 million" and was interested in buying product, yet operates from a free email address and apparently has no website. The guy tried to scam us about a year ago, and apparently doesn't keep very good records of who he tries to scam, because he just tried again.
Last year, his company was "Myracom". This year it's "MWE Inc." His name (or the name he claims is his) is Jamie. He "doesn't like dealing with distributors."
The story we've heard from people that have done business with him is he places a gigantic order on a credit card, then charges it back a couple months later. Fortunately, we got the heads up and didn't get taken in.
Just thought I'd give a heads up in case any other studios get emailed by the guy.

I'd rather be whole, than good
Yeah - he was trying to get us to sell to him last year. Interesting he's still around.
