Sales sucking

I was doing well in sales until October 15, slower since then.

Mercury's been in retrograde for most of the month, just fell back to normal last night.

My sales always suck in retrograde periods.

My Sales were great in october, accross the board!

The first week of november was also very good, however since then things have been up and down. Huge sales on day, low the next, ect.

I think it could be a lot to do with the holiday season.

I was thinking about other factors too. I wondered if most Americans get paid at the end of the month? Put that together with buys stuff for Christmas and people will have much less money towards the end of the month? Hopefully we will have a good firts two weeks in December!

The weekend after Memorial Day was my best ever. Top revenue for a single day. Otherwise, November is pretty much average, not seeing any major changes really.

the average for this month is a little bit low in sales, but yesterday was my best day in years,

most people i know get paid weekly or twice a month.

don't forget thanksgiving - it's a family holiday and money is spent as well as some people getting an unpaid day off on friday. also something else a lot of u.s. folks have to budget for is an unpaid week off between christmas and new years.

Our new sites are doing OK (hotbarebacking.com and Xtrainches.com) however there's definitely been a down-turn this month for our mature/long-term site conversions. The content has been strong too.

I think this hasn't been helped by some processors (who will remain nameless) who have been scrubbing like there is no tomorrow - I seriously suggest checking your throughputs at the moment.

I think with Christmas coming up people are actually paying more attention to their statements. I noticed chargebacks went up this month and alot more members emailing about their charges. I haven't turned up any scrubbing with our merchant account but we don't deal with the volume that the big processors do since they are doing processing for thousands of website. So maybe that is why they had to turn their scrub up.

My intense sales are back to what they were, everything else sucks. I do this for extra cash and have a full time job (which im hoping to loose!) so im not too worried. Even Fleshlight is way down which i was doing really well with. Now, as good as nothing.

I'm glad they went back up. You had a weird bunch of days there with no sales but even with that you are still one of our top converters hehe. Keep up the good work and hopefully you can get rid of your other job soon.

To be honest Mark this has scared the crap out of me. If sales can do this with no warning and i had no other income, what would i do? I get a good 4 months warning as most sponsors i use have a 4 week delay in paying out so i guess id have to get a temp job.

Yeah I could see how that would scare you. What you need to do is create more sites and get more traffic so even when things are slow you will be ok. I know it can be done but it will take alot of work and time. I know some webmasters who make over 1 million a year just by submitting galleries. It is crazy and I wish I knew exactly how they did it, hehe. Shoot me an icq when you get a chance and we will chat.
