Alternate Methods Of Generating Sales?

So i was wondering, other than submitting to TGPs, building AEN/AVS and free sites and submitting them, PPC and purchased traffic, what other methods are there to generate sales to our sponsors sites, or site we own?

The one thing i thought of straight away was perhaps offering monthly memberships on some adult auction sites, has anyone tried this?

What other alternate sales methods can you folks think of that could be used to generate membership sales to our sponsors and self-owned paysites?

My favorite is what I call guerilla marketing. My best example would be calling a news outlet, and reporting myself as having done something potentially illegal. Whatever it is, I make sure to name drop my URL so they know that the real problem is online porn.
