Hi,

after almost 4 month of billing the Verotel Risk Management staff respondet to my multiple emails with 2257 information & model release.

Today they suspendet my account at Verotel.

Here's what they wrote

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you.

The model release form will not be accepted.
It's filled out incorrect and there is no date on it. together with the long time

We can thus not continue billing. The account will be suspended.
The account will remain suspended for 6 months. This is the time card holders have to issue a charge back or credit.
After this the 6 months the account can be canceled and the held funds released.

The date is shown on the model release, but no time (is this neccessary?)

Does anybody of you have a picture of Jeremiah Rydell holding his photo ID next to his face?

There is nothing wrong with that id that i can see.

It looks like Verotiel are just trying to scam you out of your accounts funds.

Maybe they are in the process of losing their processing account with Visa and this is how they are trying to make up the lost funds?

Also, as far as im aware, if you were to have a model holding his ID as part of your 2257 documentation, you'd be breaking the regulations.

Dear Mariano,

One the 1st page the name of the photographer is missing.
then there is a date next to the photographer signature yes, but not next to the model's signature.

Also I'm having a hard time figuring out who wrote what on this form. I see 4 different hand writing styles.
We have had to wait 3 month to get these papers after we asked for them.

In all this feels to risky to continue. Verotel chooses to discontinue our business relationship

3 month I waited to - squirtit knows - last week I shot them another email attaching and linking to the 2257 information - this time somebody seems to have opened it...

That is rediculious. I know somebody trying to get a verotel account at the moment. They asked to see copies of IDs, which were sent. They THEN asked to see release forms, although all the content was of him, and solo.

He made up a model release for for himself, signed, and verotel are still fighting it saying "you cant do that". Why does he need to release content of him he made anyway? Lol

Verotel seem to be trying everything at the moment to be a pain in the ass.

I think they are either under a lot of financial pressure with this, and need to start freezing funds for interest, or it might be the case VISA are pounding them with bullshit.

Wow. I can't believe you just posted a copy of someones Full Name, Date of Birth, AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER on the web for everyone to see. Not trying to be an ass, but that is totally 100% irresponsible, and possibly illegal (at least in terms of a civil tort).

Think of all the slimy people that could use that information for indentity theft.

You should at least redact it.

Think of all the slimy people that could use that information for indentity theft.

That was totally my fault i told Develish to post it edited it now but at least a couple of us have seen that the id is valid and that Verotel are talking outta their asses in order to scam money from Develish

Tropixxx, take it easy on Develish. GWW is only open to people who register, and Lee takes great pains to make sure this community is pretty much industry related. You can't even read a thread in here unless you are registered. So it's not like it was being made available to the general public. I would hope that everyone on GWW is professional enough to not exploit the 2257 info of a model or a company.

Everything on that ID and model release is fine. I don't know what Verotel are doing. Insisting on a pic of a model holding an ID is ridiculous.
