    Time Warner Cable Anyone?

What is it with Time Warner... they take over Adelphia and ruin everything. Not that Adelphia was steller but, they never left us hanging with no internet access or tv (god forbid that's worse) for hours, or days on end...

I mean Christ! we're in Beverly Hills, we should get great fucking service but Time Warner has sucked ever since the first day they took over. We are continually down. WTF!
The city has just undergone a complete upgrading of all underground services and the new fiber optics should be delivering right up to our door with flawless service - they talk about "award winning service" - who's award? that's what I want to know - all the big guys on our block are doing great - is it us?

And get this, we just received our "disruption in service notice" - 12/4 to 12/6 - thanks for the head's up guys, we received the notice on 12/6 !

sometimes I feel like 2 cans and a string would be faster!

Hahaha! I can't believe they are getting away with that in Beverly Hills!!! One of my models is in LA and he can't keep his connection, it keeps dropping his connection therefore his cam keeps going offline. This has been ongoing for a month now every since he moved into the place he lives. Time Warner has been out there like 4 times and it's still doing the same thing. They must really blow in LA area!
    :scissors:
    Thanks,
    Jacob

You know, we wouldn't mind if the service guys were HOT and knew what "good service" was all about but...no suck luck!
yeah, we're not quite as big as our neighbors, AOL or Castle Rock, Fox Interactive or even Morgan Stanley... can you imagine any of those businesses going off line for long periods?
hell no! but then they aren't in porn are they (I mean visibly so)
oh well, at least we can entertain ourselves while we wait to re-connect!
maybe we could try carrier pigeons or something... don't know about all of that pigeon shit though...

Did you hear about that hottie Lane Garrison hitting the kid leaving school from Beverly Hills High and killing him? That's horrible. Looks like he may be getting the real Prison Break.

Here is an article about it:

I'm always amazed that shit like that happens as rarely as it does....

we've got all these fuckin' ass holes running around in their new lamborghinis, and ferraris, terrorizing the neighborhood...

The city is suppose to be putting in auto cameras to catch speeders...

Personally, I wouldn't want to fuck with the BH Police but wouldn't mind fucking a few of them!

    are you kidding?

DSL in LA is even worse! slower, funkier and some of our "friends" on the boulevard had their trunk line cut when they were doing "repair" work on the street a while back - their enormous empire crumbled in moments!

kidding aside, it all sucks unless we put our mammoth dish on the roof which we can't do - although, AOL got away with it, I guess we could petition the city council for a variance of sorts...

yeah, there we are, T&C in front of BH planning commision petitioning for a giant broadcast dish on our roof so that we can bring sex to the world? I don't know - Flynt gets away with it but they have a 24 story building and he's got more pull!

Before we moved we had Time Warner and actually no problems with them whatsoever. I guess the merge took more out of them than they though?

we're calling GTE, I mean, Pacific Bell, I mean, AT&T (I think) to get a new DSL connection as back-up

    why not...

I probably would have had a few free months by now - or at least tied up a few reps

I have AOL (dial-up) as back-up - fortunately I don't have to mess with it all that often. Usually when it goes out here - I just need to re-set the router. I don't think I would last 5 minutes though on dial-up

I suppose we could throw an "extension cord" across the street to tie into the corporate offices of AOL however, I have a feeling the city wouldn't go for it! we could always try...

seems that they spend more time playing pool and drinking sodas at their employee bar than working over there at AOL - its not that we're spying on them but, they don't have any window coverings and you can see EVERYTHING that goes on in those fancy offices of theirs...

The part I hate... If you pay online, here, they stop sending you a bill in the mail. If you have too much shit going on...

we never do auto payments of that sort - every time we have in the past, most all of the companies like Earthlink start auto hitting your account with incorrect billing amounts and bogus charges that tie up hundreds of dollars until you talk to the customer service reps in Bangladesh! and even though the payment may be a "one time" on line payment, it always converts into an auto payment

You first laughed at my suggestion. I'm glad that you took my advice. Now go get your site finished!
