Do you know your state abbreviation?

I am floored by this guy trying to signup to my site and he sends me this email.....

"I use my credit card for other sites, but am constantly denied
with your site. I have MC and VISA, and both are rejected. What gives?"

So I look him up in Nats and he is being rejected because he is putting his state as TE for Texas, LOL.

He's probably using googles 'autofill' for his address.

It trys to spell texas as that is what is usually filled in within the state field on addresses.

If he doesn't pick up on it he'll just keep getting the first two letters.

Or maybe he's just a Texan LOL

The name on the card isn't "G.W.Bush" by any chance?

I just sent a gift to someone in London and the form automatically inserted GB into the state box. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any meaning to our postal service but I thought it was interesting.

It is actually . I cant actually believe it, but its amazing how things change with a big ocean in between people.

I mean let me put it this way.

I have never used GB in my life, and i live in "Great Britain".
Great Britain is infact a term you nearly never hear in the UK.

The only terms used here are:
    England (for the english)
UK (like your shortened state things)
and the full "United Kingdom" (which is the most commonly used)

Actually, CCBILL used to publish "GB" on my affiliate checks a couple of years back. They seem to have changed it though. Topbucks however still do, or did from my last received check.

I have done that a few times since I have moved to Colorado actually. Hit the C once because I used to be in California, but I have to hit the C twice now.

It just goes to show - put the state names in there. That will help cover us Texans (you have listed to one for about six years on the television, that didn't help? LOL )
