To be honest, I haven't seen a nice sponsor banner in ages... except mine.
Michael makes his own nice ones for his sponsors. I borrow his sometimes.
SOme of GayPay.com's over-sized horizontal banners for their site PopBoys.com i really like.

Btw, I had a wink at the end of my statement. It was meant in fun.
Corbin Fisher has a nice odd sized one. Crazy Doctors look good. To be fair most sponsor banners are, well not to my taste.
Im actually in agreement, even some of the Condom Cash banners are 'blah' to me but they seem to be working.
I do beleive there are only so many times you can see a banner before it becomes worthless, because of this, im working on getting some 'alternate' banners made in dimensions other than the norm over the coming weeks which will hopefully help a lot of our affiliates

I guess everyone has different needs in banners so its hard to design a one size fits all.
Readable ones and if animated, with enough delay so it can be read without watching it through 4-5 times to get all the info. And done without "effects" that give me a headache or have me feeling like someone just flashed a camera in my face.
we have been getting some sweet new banners for our hunkmoney sites, but I honestly think a good text link kicks any banner's ass!
