    presents getting smaller and smaller...

thanks to technology, most of the presents we bought people this year are smaller than ever before. presents this year included a GPS, 3 mp3 players, a couple flash drives and a very small dvd player. we also bought some mp3 player accessories and dvds.

one thing for sure - this year's gifts sure take up less closet space year

i considered the shuffle, but it's TOO small and there's no way to view a playlist so you have to click your way through the songs.

for less than $30 more, i got the sansa e250, which plays videos, shows pics and shows your playlist and album art. but i also wanna get the iriver clix, which is SO much fun!

I was just given a key ring that holds 60 decent size (60k) pics and shows them on a 1.5" screen

Kinda novel, kinda cute.... except they didn't load it with pics of them so now I have to ask them to send me some
    Domain inventory sale.

I use my ipod shuffle for working out.

    love it.

I can run and not worry about it banging around and damaging the hard drive.

Wait, wasn't that the IBill shuffle? The tapdance done by all of the staff at Ibill during the collapse?

Bingo - always knew you are a smart chickie! The Sansa player are way better than the iPod. After all, that is why I gave mine (iPud) away.

When it comes to technology I’m a bit of a loser. I have tendency of being either behind the times or completely oblivious to it…. So recently I was given a substantial gift card to Best Buy by one of my regular guests at the salon and he told me to buy something I wanted. He knows me all too well, that I will always put necessity before desire. But, I stuck to his wishes and went to Best Buy open minded.

My roommate and I had been wandering around the store for seriously an hour and I couldn’t find anything I wanted… only things I needed. (I.e. a new vacuum, a new coffee maker, etc.) We went back to the MP3 player section and he forced me to look at them again. He told me to look at them and pick one out, that I would learn to love it. So I set out to find one I liked. I personally didn’t like the shuffle either. But then again it depends on each person’s individual needs. I wanted to be able to see the songs. Although my Dad got the shuffle and LOVES it. I ended up picking out a cute little Samsung one, it’s similar is size to the nano, but more features… and without the name brand price tag. I was really astounded by the prices on the apple products. You could get the SAME EXACT features on other brand products for half the price; which is what I ended up doing.

Anyway, I’m rambling again, I got my first MP3 player a short while ago and I’m still learning how to use it. But, for the most part I like it, it is really small though and I’m afraid I will break or lose it. I bought the insurance plan just incase… you know me too uptight!

    Well, TTYL, Sky
