Based on 100 attempted Sales how many declines do you get with your processor.

ie CCBill decline emails

i don't get decline emails but i get about 7 declines per 100 transactions including rebills.

7% is actually quite high based on the figures im seeing, although to be fair, the declines i do get typically dont come in on a regular basis, they are usually dispersed across the month in batches.

Right now my last decline email arrived on Nov 26th.

lee, do you check your ccbill stats for declines or only count the emails? it's possible some emails aren't showing up.

Actually, thats a good point.

I just checked and it does in fact look like the 26th was the last decline i got, that doesnt include rebill declines, only new member submissions from the join form.

Well its making me feel slightly better...usually I run at about 6% per 1000.

Over the last 30 days that has increased to 11% that's accross three billing partners & 11 paysites. I was getting worried that the 'quality' of my traffic was declining.

but it sounds as though it is still well within the 'norm'

I was kind of putting it down to Xmas maxed out CC too, but thought it was a little early to be noticing such things.

Thanks both of you for your input. It would still be interesting to here from some of the GIANTS on their % too?? .......
