Where Are You Getting Your Blog Traffic These Days?

Those of you that run blogs, where do you get your traffic from these days?

Do the blog directories still work well for you or are you getting traffic primarily from the SE's?

I have to say, the last couple of months ive seen a steady decline in traffic from the blog directories that i would submit to so im hoping some of you can suggest alternate traffic sources for blog orientated traffic

    Regards,

    Lee

My blog has always gotten most of its traffic from SEs. The lesson here kids, is that if you have a blog, you have to WRITE. If you just put up pretty pictures and no text, no one will find you.

My other main source of traffic is having other blogs link to me, especially if they comment about something I wrote. The challenge is to get a "scoop" that no one else has written about, then have other blogs quote me and link back to me as the source.

It was trendy to start a blog this past year, but unless you are willing to spend the time to actually write it, it's going to fizzle.

Almost everywhere and anywhere I can get it.

SE's, other blogs, feed sites, blog directories, etc...
