getting WM to submit - need ideas

ok i know all about getting traffic to my site - do the lls and all that.
but getting webmasters to submit to a new LL is harder than I thought, or maybe I thought it will be easy. anyways

i'm looking for some input to make sure Im covering all the bases.

*submitting to webmaster resource sites
*sig line
* swap links with other LL/TGPs (to do)
*submit the site to other LLs
*try to get some SE traffic

what'd i miss?

You could make up a recip button for the new site and toss it onto the top of a gallery and submit the gallery ... should pull some traffic to you. Just add it in with 2-3 other tgp recips you're submitting to anyways.

I'll second Bec's suggestion as a way to generate more surfer traffic to BillysLinks.com. But your main concern is getting more webmasters to add their links.

When I first looked at Billy's Links from one of your other posts, I noticed you did not have many listings, and (for BillysLinks.com) no Google page ranking, no stats at Alexa, so I just made a note on my link list spreadsheet as a possibility. But now I see that BillysLinks is tied into BillysPervWebsite.com (Google PR9! and Alexa top 100,000 traffic ranking). Bet you're getting a huge amount of surfer traffic. (And I registered tonight; will finish up tomorrow)

So how about touting your BillysPervWebsite traffic stats in your marketing efforts to webmasters?

do you own linkmeallover too? I was trying to buy that site a few years back but I was too late by a day or two

why not pop a link up on the linkmeallover submit page asking for webmasters to submit to your new site too? I bet most would do it.

I submitted early on and am getting consistently good traffic from BillysLinks.

NO ONE ELSE SUBMIT! I want it all for myself!! hehehe

BillysPervWebsite is an extremely popular site. I communicate with a lot of my surfers all the time and it's consistently mentioned as a fave. Which is why I submitted right away when I'd noticed a link list going up.

Definitely boost mention of that, as a new link list itself might not gather a whole helluva lotta interest but the affiliation with BPW should snag the interest of any knowing webmaster.

bass is right, don't just limit your posting to GWW and gay webmaster boards There are a lot of webmasters with gay traffic.

and no i don't own either of the link lists, unfortunately for me

and yes billyspwerwebsite has a pr of 9.
i had to go to the other pc and look it up on there because i thought it was a mistake or a snag
it's the real deal.
trafficwise, daily the site pushes over 10GB.
