Are Frames An Issue Any More?

I know a few years back using frame on sites was a big issue with some browsers however, im considering using frames in my members area with the redesign im about to start doing and wondered if that will cause a problem for some users or not?

Does anyone know if frames can still cause some surfers problems or if all browsers are now compatible with the use of frame on site layouts?

    Regards,

    Lee

I know I did answer your other thread so not trying to monopolizing things, but as I sure you might know I use frames on all my members sites, and have never had one complaint about them from a viewer.

As far as I know they still present an issue for SEO, but I believe that's about it.

Besides SEO it also screws up bookmarking. If you right click to add bookmarks it won't get the entire frame, just the framed page your mouse was in.

But I can't really think of anything that would effect a members area.
I post here to whore this sig.
