8 twinks at a mansion... our first shoot of 2007

Well, the title might be a little deceptive, not sure if AJ's house qualifies as a mansion, but probably close enough... I'll post some pics later and you can judge for yourself

This past week we had 8 twinks here to shoot content... first time we've done a major shoot in a while and we figured we'd start 2007 with a bang (no pun intended.) A couple of familiar faces and a bunch of newcomers.

We had 8 guys ranging in age from 18-22 fucking their brains out for about 7 days. It was pretty crazy, and it never ceases to amaze me how much these skinny guys that weigh 120 pounds can eat! In the course of a week, they went through about $1200 worth of food from Costco... we had someone cooking catered food for them, which ended up being better food and less expensive than taking them out.

So we had two complete crews, and were shooting 2 scenes at a time, which meant we got something like 30 scenes shot over the course of the week, combination of solo, 2 way, 3 way, and one 8-way scenes. Our first foray into shooting 1080p HD video as well... we bought the new Panasonic HVX-200 so I got to immediately learn about tapeless shooting, and the insane amount of space that HD content takes (about 1 gb per minute of video, roughly 5 times what SD takes, and way too much to fit onto a mini-DV tape) Editing that will be another interesting story, I'm sure.

Anyway, the last of the guys left on Monday and I'm finally getting a chance to rest a little, catch up on emails, and get back to normal. Just thought I'd share. I'll post some pics later on.

Very cool...
Please keep us posted on how the post production goes.
I would love to try a video clip out on our 1080p tv.

And..even try via the xbox360 with the VGA cable.
The HD drive works great on it..but I am trying to see how to better allow people with xbox 360's to watch porn...with DRM of course.

OMG it was blast... I had a ton of fun. 8 boys in a huge house for 7 days... trust me there was on and off camera action going on!!! LOL

I even got to direct a few scenes... that was great! Chip and AJ let me direct a few to let my creative juices out (instead of just my man juices) for a change... I never realized how fun it can be. I plan on directing alot more in the future! (with Chip and AJ's approval of course!)

Skyler showed his multitalents off quite a bit during this last shoot. He was a fantastic production assistant, helping to keep the models on schedule (try getting 8 gay boys ready in the morning...) He helped out with still photography on some of the scenes, and of course he helped out in front of the camera a few times as well.

And our recent staff addition Patrick is just amazing... his schooling is in filmmaking (real films, not porn), so he brings a fresh and needed perspective to shooting as well as editing our content, and he's one of those rare people who works hard, never complains, gets along well with the models and yet knows how to keep his professional distance. Without Pat and Skyler, this shoot would have been nearly impossible.

And Skyler... AJ and I miss you too!!
