I'm asking you guys for help

I’m not apt to posting about my site because it makes me feel grimy just a little but wanted to hear your view.

Some time ago, I asked about a layout and got more feedback than I had expected. I thank you all for it.

Today I opened up HS with a community mod for member profiles, personal gallery, buddy comments and user blogs.

Would you guys give me the same assistance as before and let me know if I have messed anything up, if the site seems confusing and overall feeling you get.

(I know a few people won’t like the login at the bottom of the links list and I can understand.)

    Thanks

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

In my humble opinion, the one thing i would change right away is the board script you are using.

Id opt to go with VBulletin or PHPBB purely for the fact that if you want your board to become active, you need to let your users post using a recognized software, many boards dont reach their full potential because the owners dont understand how 'comfort levels' comes in to play with forums.

VBulletin and PHPBB has been used by pretty much everyone and they know how it works and are comfortable using those scripts, newer scripts take a lot of getting used to and as such, inhibit the end user in wanting to participate on a board.

There's a reason we switched all of our resource forums to VBulletin, not only is it the most secure, but it is the one most people feel comfortable using.

    Regards,

    Lee

Good idea - Plus I don't much like the feel of this one. It's slightly basic and Shouldn't have been public - Was testing it out and like you said... Doesn't have a warm and friendly feel of the old friend we know and love.

Did you change the site since you posted? I am basically seeing a nice blog with plenty of eye candy... I can see ratings on posts, but not members profiles or a board?

My first impression... FRESH & CLEAN! I really like the look and feel and to me that counts for a lot. And I especially like that you have a uknakedmen model on the front page.

I love the look, the feel, the colors, the layout and the content

What I am missing is the name, it kinds of small and vanishes in your logo.

You want guys who happened to visit your site to remember your name, so maybe you can find a way to put it big and bold up there: HAPPYSUCKS

Thanks guys - I took the feature down for the moment - after looking at it live for a 24 hour period - it feels like a clone to a few other community scripts.

It also had that, stuck in time feeling you get from a simple script with little room to expand on. I'll work on an alternative.

At least you're wanting to see the name and not asking what it means. Last time around, the meaning seemed to be the issue.

Looks just like a standard blog.......... nice hunks though!
I fully Agree. However, a lot of sites with no blog what so ever are starting to look like standard blogs too. I was up until 5am last night working out a project plan I'm going to try and implement over the next month and break up this feeling a little.

    Again, Thanks guys
