Your Privacy?
Your Family?
Your Job?
Your Freedom?

Very tough call. But I would have to go with privacy. Privacy was one of the fundimential rights that was so important to our founding fathers they put it in the Bill of Rights. Family is a very, very close second...but without our privacy, I could not have the type of family (ie. my gay partnership) that I would want to have.
Freedom is highly overrated. Ask the Iraqis. I am sure they would rather have Saddam back.
Besides, you would not truly be free without your privacy. You would only have the illusion of freedom.

My familly definitly !
it all comes down to having your loved ones with you
a place where you feel safe and can be yourself with total freedom
and they will always have your back!
At least that's how I see family...
You simply had to know I was going to say MY FREEDOM!
With out it the rest really does not matter (to me) because I will be one miserable & biter f_cker!
So miserable my fam would h8 chilling with me.
Privacy is just a joke. Eyes are always prying and they'll always get a peek, so why bother.
and we all know what I think of work (jobs), but in case you do not it goes a little something like this: BAH hah hah h... *holding up hand* WHAT EVER!
I was about to vote for "privacy" but I did rejoice...
Freedom is worth more than privacy and to me it includes that privacy. I want to have the freedom of communicating with others and not being spyed on. I want to travel where ever I want to and not disclose my whole life or how I payed for the fare to others. I want to be able to work where I want.
I want to do all I want with my loved ones - up to the extend where the freedom of others begins.
Privacy though is the thing which is getting more dilluted every day by laws passed by civilized countries and state-groups all over the world.
Those laws hinder me in my freedom to a great extend.
:-D
^ agreed!
What I find truly sad is the fact that we have to fight for things that are supposed to ours, from the get go.
We are supposed to a free people, yet there are so many restraints.
We are supposed to have private lives, yet every body of government wants to know virtually every intimate detail.
Family is family and no matter what they'll always be there!
As for jobs (pfft): how can any person be expected to place their job on a pedestal when IT is what denies them the most?
One of the reasons I once admired the French (Parisians etc - not the franglais) for was their 4-day work week. At the very least that promoted living, not working.
Your Privacy?
Your Family?
Your Job?
Your Freedom?
Family, you would think, comes first. However...
I had to pick freedom.
With Freedom comes Privacy. The lack of Privacy is based on our restrained freedoms.
Job, That's hit and miss too. You need money to live, you can live without money. It's a matter of your will to live and at what class level.
Family comes first but only through freedom "and" acceptance
Kind of reminds me of an ad from the early 90's.
Big bold print "Last night I was Gay Bashed" - When you open up the leaflet it says "I can't keep living with my father"
Be Who You Are!
after thinking about this for a while, i realized that at the moment it's not something i can answer. i've never been one to have a single favorite in anything, and this question is sort of like favorites - pick one thing out of a group of things.
my gut feeling was privacy before i had a chance to think. after a minute, freedom seemed the most important. but what if my mom, arie and michael were all dead? what if it was during a final blow for freedom? would i truly feel their deaths were worth it? maybe after ten really sad years. i'd like to think freedom was number one, but if i really lost them, i might not feel that way.
the only thing on the list that didn't seem AS important - not to say that it isn't important, because it is - is my job. i mean, there are other jobs. and i work for myself so i could create another job. i can't create true freedom, family or privacy.
How come 'Really Big Cocks' isn't on the list?
.
I love my family but considering they are some of the people who want to take my rights away I'd have to say I choose freedom over family. My mom told me she was accepting of my homosexuality but that if I wanted to bring a "friend" home for the holidays I wouldn't be allowed. She refuses to acknowledge someone's partner as such, even going so far as to call my cousin's husband of 14 years his "friend". So, even though she says she's accepting, she really isn't. And the fact that she thinks we shouldn't allow to marry and that wanting to bring home a boyfriend of husband and wanting a marriage is just "flaunting" my lifestyle in her face.
