Fake 7th grader had child-sex tape, police say

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/01/25/se....ap/index.html

PRESCOTT, Arizona (AP) -- Authorities investigating a 29-year-old sex offender suspected of repeatedly enrolling in schools as a 12-year-old boy said Thursday they seized a video showing him engaging in sex acts with a child.

Investigators were trying to determine the identity of the juvenile shown in the video with Neil Havens Rodreick II, a convicted sex offender from Oklahoma, said sheriff's spokesman Scott Reed.

Rodreick, who looks youthful, was arrested last week after officials at a school in Chino Valley, about 90 miles northwest of Phoenix, became suspicious when he tried to enroll as a seventh-grader. (Watched how the baby-faced ex-con seemed to blend in at school Video)

Besides the video, CDs, a computer and paperwork were seized during searches of a Chino Valley home where Rodreick lived with Lonnie Stiffler, 61, Robert Snow, 43, and Brian Jay Nellis, 34.

The four men were arrested January 18, the day after Stiffler, posing as Rodreick's grandfather, allegedly attempted to enroll Rodreick in the Mingus Springs Charter School as 12-year-old "Casey Price."

The sheriff's office said Rodreick conned Stiffler and Snow into believing he was a young boy.

All four were charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit forgery, and Rodreick, Snow and Nellis were charged with failing to register as sex offenders.

Rodreick also is charged with other counts, including misdemeanor assault for an incident involving a girl. He remains in the Yavapai County jail.

Officials at another school, the Imagine School at Rosefield in the Phoenix suburb of Surprise, said Rodreick attended class from August through November before they dropped him for poor attendance.

He spent a total of 50 days in class, and apparently did not raise concerns.

So I thought this was interesting........

And, with a little bit of Hollywood magic (and a drastic rewrite) the story was finally brought to the silver screen.

Okay, for my serious response. It's one thing to be a total pervert. If you have a shoe fetish, you have a closet full of army boots. If you have a shaving fetish, you invite a bunch of guys over and tell them to bring their own clippers and razors. If you like asses, you have a whole wall of your bedroom covered in clippings from porno mags of hot bubble butts. But what kind of wacko enrolls in a high school to get laid??? There is some serious problems with this guy and he and his friends who helped him should all be put away for a very long time.

And on top of that, aside from the very obvious issues of the asshole being a **** and a predator, who has the fucking time??? I mean, it's all I can do to get my 40 hours a week of work, gym time, dinner, freelance stuff and extracurricular activities in and still have time to sleep??? Who the fuck has the time to enroll in school and pretend to be a kid? Geeze!

    What the hell?!?!!?

No matter how many different types of documentation the school was provided with... did they not LOOK at him?? He may not look 29, but there is no way he looks like a 12 yr. old.

Did his voice, facial hair and, oh, I dunno, CROWS FEET around his eyes not throw off the teachers?!?!?!?

You know, I've found that often times when a person is faced with something they do not understand, their minds will fill in the blank. I was at a burger place in Burbank once wearing my "LA boys of Leather" t-shirt. Okay, I can see if you don't know anything about S&M or leather, it might make you to ask what it was, but this lady looked at my shirt and said "oh, you're with the LA boys of Leather... I need a new leather couch, where should I look?"

She came to the conclusion that my shirt meant that I had something to do with furniture. So I could see how a teacher seeing a "child" who looked a little older than usual might not even conceive that the child might really be 30, so the mind forces the teacher to view the child as a child. There is also a disease that makes children age faster. I don't remember what it's called. Does that ring a bell with anyone? So I'm sure, again, in the interest of being politically correct, a teacher might not want to ask the "child" why they appear to be much older.

It is scary that this was allowed to pass on the administrative level, though. It makes you wonder if they do any kind of background check at all. I mean, I can't apply for a Barnes And Noble card without them having all my details and proof of age and all that, how the hell did this guy enroll in grade school?

I think you are referring to the disease, progeria. I'm pretty sure that disease ages the body something like 10x's the normal rate and most kids don't live to see their late teens. :embarrassed:

Anywho, I agree with you, and I didn't mean to sound like I was only "blaming" the teachers. What I meant was how did he even get through the administration process. I thought the article mentioned that he had been caught doing the same thing in another school…? I guess he changed his name & forged new documents everytime he did this.

I'd suspect something when, by the end of the school day, the kid has the beginning of a five o' clock shadow.

If he had afterschool Glee club or something, he'd have to shave
