I have to admit I have been surprised in the past by what I perceive as prudishness of some members of this forum. For the most part we are gay men that work in the sex industry. So it’s not too much of a stretch to think that we have pretty free-wheeling attitudes towards sex. I’m NOT suggesting that we are all total pigs. But should we be shocked by someone who is?

Anyways… maybe this poll will give us some insight into the sexual mores and attitudes of our community.

I should add that I, too, am frequently shocked by how prudish gay men can sometimes be. I have never--nor will I ever--subscribe to traditional sexual values or morals, because they just do not have any relevance to my life--or, as I see it--to life in general. Frickin' Judeo-Christian values imposed to shame people into sexual submission. Disgusting. And gay people buy into it! It just amazes me that anyone can be susceptible to that bullshit.

The one great thing about my college education was the human sexuality courses I took as part of my studies obtaining a certificate in women's studies. I learned so much about sexual liberation, and so I totally liberated myself from any of the ridiculous values that have been forced upon America by the church and government.

I'm not a total slut, and there is a certain amount of tradition that I prefer, but more than anything, I make my own rules, and I place no judgment upon one's sexual lifestyle. Sex is an amazing thing, and should be treated as any other necessity like food, water and air.

I am just really sick of the gay community as a whole defining everything by what makes their dick hard, or how many people they hooked up with in a park last week. Regardless of all the exposure these sex issues get their “worth” is still considered marginal by most. :footmouth:
