Finally, i have a permanent home for my sex advice column — http://www.drdicksexadvice.com/ as time permits, i'll be populating this new site with all my archives.

right now, i have a burning question for all you more seasoned bloggers. i'm working with WordPress, and while lots of stuff is pretty self-explanatory and intuitive, i, for the life of me, can not figure out how to add pages to that blasted thing. even the support documentation is like total greek to me.

would any of you care to offer some help to the good dr? perhaps teach the old dog a new trick? i'd be eternally thankful.

i invite ya'll to visit the site. all comments and critiques are welcome. just remember, the site is only a few days old. ;-)

LOL! yep, that's exactly what i've been staring at for days. i think i'm beginning to see outlines of doggies and duckies.

My Best WP Tip

Before I start messing with the Presentation part of the template - headers, footers, ect ...

I copy and paste the orginal code in a txt doc and save. Whobuddy has that saved my bacon.

Onto your Page Creation problem...

I agree with both of you, WP has the worst documentation. Roy bought this book and said it parts of it were helpful.

yeah, i saw that and did that. ;-) see: http://www.drdicksexadvice.com/about-me/ but it doesn't show up on any of the right hand side navigation. is there a way of creating new navigational sections, like recent posts, categories, etc?

i know i'm bein' a total dweeb, but how would anyone know to go to .../about-me/ i'd kinda like this to be the first page one sees. as it stands now, i have to redo the posting date on .../hello-world/ just so it stays on top.

Either open your sidebar.php in a program like dreamweaver or notepad, OR via ftp go to wp-content/themes/name of your theme and chmod all the php files to 777 so you can edit them from your presentation/theme editor in the admin panel. The basic call for pages is

<?php wp_list_pages(); ?>
