Newsletter / Mailing List Scripts?

Does anyone know of any good newsletter scripts for use on a paysite (for weekly updates etc)?

Something that's easy to install and requires email confirmation. I have NO experience with this so the easier the better.

http://www.siteinteractive.com/subpro/ is a good script, we've used it for years and had no problems with it

You can also set it up to handle multiple mailing lists from one admin database, which is especially good for paysites as typically programs will have more than 1 site in their portfolio so for example, you can mail your twink site members a different copy than your bear site members copy

Something else you might want to look in to is setting up an autoresponder instead of an actual mailer, it will work in the same way but once someone enters their email address, you can often set the script to deliver a message to them every hour, day, week, month, year etc.

This means after you do the initial message setup, you can just forget about it.

Thanks, Lee! This is exactly what i need. Is this autoresponder included with the Subscribe Me Pro you mentioned above? Or is that some other type of sript/program?

That's merely the page they've created that holds the form, any mailing script you use would be hooked up to the submit actions on the page you build.
