Sorenson questions

I think it's time to buy Sorenson. I would like to do some batch encoding to speed things up. But geez it's expensive.

So what's the deal with monthly encoding limit? It actually limits how much you can process? That sounds like bullshit to me. To get unlimited encoding you need to spend $2,500 per year in addition to the cost of the program?! http://www.sorensonmedia.com/store/p...tionID=35&c=27

So what is the best version to get? I'd like the option of encoding Flash which the original version has but it's only 'Spark' unless you buy the 'Power Pack' version which adds 'VP6' output and $150 to the price. I don't know what the difference is between 'Spark' and 'VP6'.

Maybe I should get the HD version. It's only $12,000. Lol.

Well thats weird, for only $499 my copy of Squeeze does everything, i wonder if they have changed that recently?

Yes, that's correct. But I saw here on the comparison chart that Squeeze 4.5 has a 'limited monthly encoding volume'. And it only does 'Spark' Flash Output... whatever that is.
