Online Store - Researching Processor?

Hey guys,

I've just received the first run of my own line of speedo style swimwear (they are white and very see through).

I've never setup any eCommerce/Store (from the processing side) and I was wondering if there is someone like Paycom or CCBill (which I'm familiar with) to process non-subscription goods?

You might be better off getting a merchant services account and a payment gateway like, USA ePay or VeriSign.

I think because you are dealing with real inventory merchandise, your options are a lot greater.

Why don't you sell your speedos on eBay, and just take PayPal? I can't imagine the costs to do that would be anything like what it would require to use a 3rd party credit card processor like ccBill or Paycom.

Doesn't sound like anything remotely adult or high risk there. As long as you aren't selling them on a domain that sounds like porn, links to porn, or has porn images on it, you should be able to process with just about anybody.

Last I looked, the going rate for nonadult internet processing was 1.75 - 2.25% plus about .25 per transaction.

You might talk to Victoria at ecscommerce.com (that is her email as well) I've found her to be one of the most knowledgeable people on the planet about what each different bank is doing as far as underwriting and risk, and who has the best rates. She does primarily do adult, but I think she also does a lot of nonadult too.
