i have to agree with that. not only that, but couldn't you guys have a popup free version at least to show us? i accidentally closed my browser after the last popup in the chain stole the browser i was posting in and i accidentally closed gww.
re Hungryasses.com - if you're entire site is supposed to be based on twinks, don't you think you should have some twinks on the tour?
Bathhousebang.com looks to dry for me. not very sexy and nothing that seems to have much to do with bathhouses on the tour. probably not a lot to do with bathhouses in the member area, either.
why even call a site closet cams if the guys are so obviously not closeted or secretive?
i give up - i could give a better critique if popups weren't popping everywhere.
I recognize a lot of the models used, and many have been out of the business a long time ago. They're good looking pictures, but many are ancient.
Also, at least two of the guys on the "straight site" are fairly popular porn stars that are quite opening gay.
Rather than recycling those 1995 photo sets, I think we'd all rather see naked pictures of Derrick, right gang?

with all the resources Python has, why this kind of stuff? it's like you guys aren't even trying. and the popups give us all a bad name. why anyone would do that to a prospective customer is WAY beyond me. DISAPPOINTED!

There actauly are pop up free links I could have provided, but I didn't know about it until after I posted, so that's my fault and I appologize. I didn't realize some people had such bad feelings towards a few popups.

I think you ought to send the Python owners here so they can read this. Python ought to retire those old sets that you can buy from Ounique for $5 each. If Python seriously wants webmasters to promote them, then perhaps they should get serious about their content. Throwing up a new coat of paint on a falling down building doesn't hide the fact that the building is falling down.
Invest in some good content, get a new domain name, put up a hot new design and redirect all the traffic from your old sites to the fresh new one.

(There are actaully two pop under entrance consoles, and 4 exits. So you wouldnt actaully see anything until you closed the browser window. So there aren't pop ups "everywhere" I think that's being a little dramatic.)
You should still be able to constructively critique the sites without be so concerned with popups.

LavenderLounge Mark is spot on. BathhouseBang looked like is was designed nicely enough. But to a lot of potential customers it may appear "weird"
The opening page has photos from a 2002 movie called Glory Holes of New York. Now, that's a great movie, which stars my long lost husband Carlos Morales. But it's something lots of people will have seen. And if your prospect has seen it, they will probably recall that is wasn't even set in a bathhouse.
Hence, what I mean by "weird"
Imagine if you had a mainstream movie website called "Fresh, Young Hollywood Starlets" and your front page had photos of Uma Thurman from the movie Dangerous Liasons. Technically, yes... she is nice looking and was a fresh starlet.....several years ago. Lots of people have seen her by now, and that is how they will react.
Maybe straight porn customers aren't so picky. Keep in mind that the amount of gay porn made is a fraction compared to straight porn. So even if you go and rent a gay porn every three months or so, people get a good feel for all the models and movies. I hope that helps.

PS: Even omitting my arguable pickyness, because only LavenderLounge Mark and CorbinFisher Brian watch as much porn as I do.... I'd reduce the number of exit popups. After two, you've passed the point of diminishing returns and crossed into the land of irritation.
Yeah it's not just that people might recognize the movies the photos originally came from or that a particular star has been outta the biz for awhile, it's that some of the clothing (plaid flannel vest? c'mon now) and hairstyles are way old. So that dates the content right there. It's evident to even a novice pornviewer that the stuff is old.
A bathhouse-themed site has great potential, though! What a sinfully delicious concept.

Those - new guys - that are just becoming to explore online porn will be struck by far better sites with exclusive content and these $1 trial oldies-goldies will get lost in the universe of condomtrash....
Company with such big incomes and rather well known name should be ashamed of creating stuff like that.... but to review:
BatHouse Bang - Seriously, there is no concept, no connection between the domain name and the tour itself. With taglines like "hot anonymus sex in public"... geeze... I mean if it's anonymus it can be hardly done in public??!
Plus there's "exclusive content" written somewhere along the blueish gifs... where is that?? At the bottom of the page is a link to naughty.com, which is straight TGP??!!
On the next page there are some generic gay hardcore images and another pointless tagline: "The Dirtiest anonymus action: Bathouses, XXX, Theaters, Truckstops, Gloryholes".... seriously does this have any meaning at all, plus I tought it was Bathouse and not "wellcallitdependingonthesubjectofphoto site"....
There are no real previews: no high res preview images, no video previews, there is absolutely no concept, still have no clue what kind of niche that is... yes, there are three shmugzly tour pages which would be "GORGEOUS" in 1999, but from today's point of view (be it surfer or webmaster) it very much S (U) C (K) S
And to pay $39.95 for this is to say at least "overpriced" or ____(fill in yourself)_____
it's not just 6 popups - it's that the last popup redirects one of my active browsers.
and btw, popups like this are a great way to make more and more surfers not trust us. also a lot of link lists and tgps won't link to anyone using a sponsor with more than a single popup.
i also feel that using mostly what is the oldest licenseable content is not a good way to make fresh, exciting tours. it's also not a good idea to put gay pornstars and models on a str8 guy or curious tour.

some of the tour LOOK good and professional. now if python would buy some fresh content and pay someone to choose design pics and write text that works with the pics, you'd have something nice. but what's even the point of having a purty tour and filling it with dross?
