Are You More Likely To Promote A Site If They Have..

The banner sizes you need without you having to contact the program and get a special size banner created for you?

My gut tells me that affiliates would be more inclined to promote something if the creative sizes they need are already available.

Would be nice to hear you folks thoughts / opinions on this

What if they have the size you need and you like it though?

Are you going to be more inclined to promote a site based on being able to find exactly the type of promo tool you need?

If they have what I need, then it's easier and quicker for me to work it into my site. If I have to wait for them to create a banner or create it myself, then obviously it'll take longer for me to start promoting them.

But seriously, if I want to promote a site badly enough and I need a 920 x 100 banner, I'll just make my own banners. I prefer to make them anyway because I like the banners to fit into the overall design of my site. I don't like banners with big honking "click here for $1.95 trial" flashing all over the place.

To be honest its the site i care about not the banners. Again id create my own or stick to text links. Ive actually had designers build sponsors banners for me. I care much more about the site and how that looks.

Nope, banners availability is not a factor at all. It's all about the site, first and foremost. The most important consideration I have is that I think the site is something I can sell. Anything other than that is gravy.

My thoughts too... The site should say 'buy me I'm Hot!' I will sort out my own banners if they don't have what I need.

One thing that I did like though, was going to a bnner page recently and all the banners were miniturized (until you selected a style/shape & size) so their banner page loaded in seconds!!!

Very impressed by that I was Good thinking when you sometime have 1000k plus of banners to wait for

Wow! What an amazingly simple idea. I needed to go make a banner thumbnail gallery.

When I am looking for new sponsors, banner quality and sizes available is a minor factor, but a factor nevertheless. I like to see several softcore 2257-compliant choices.

When I have a photoset I am ready to publish on a free site or a TGP gallery, then the banner factors are more important. I have a choice between different paysites in the same niche. If the revenue per click between two paysites is about the same, I'll choose the one that offers me more variety in the banners. It makes my pages more interesting (especially to picky LL/TGP site owners).
