    Aryan Cock

    Hey all,

I signed up a few weeks back to promote Prison Stud. I went back today to check it out and review it and I see the tag lines for one of the galleries in the members area is "100% Aryan Cock."

That kind of got my sensitivities churning. Am I being too sensitive? I know that kind of language might be prison talk, so it sort of adds to the flavour of the niche. But "Aryan" is just such a charged word. And given what Nazis did to gay people in concentration camps ... Am I over reacting?

    Cheers,
    Michael

Oh not good! There is no excuse for such blatant racism on a gay site... or any site for that matter.

Very disturbing. It's too bad because I really love the concept and the content otherwise.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

LOL Thats crazy although, it did remind me of an unreleased gay porn movie that i recently saw featuring a prominent industry name being verbally abused by a model dressed as a Nazi whilst being spanked raw LOL

Naw, don't sweat it. Aryan Nation and ESPECIALY the Aryan Brotherhood are both big prison gangs. I am sure he is just using slang to sell the niche. (I don't know who owns this site for the record)

    Hope this helps. --Chubbs

I've looked over the site and it defintely has racial undertones and uses lots of slang. But it isn't singling out one race as superior. The black, latino and white men on the site all use racial terms to describe fellow inmates of different races. It does have a very authentic feel as I imagine prison life must really be.

A word of advice though... offer your videos as WMV files and not zips. The MPEG zips when unzipped repeatedly crash Windows Explorer. I was only able to get an AVI zip to unzip and actually play. And make your images much bigger... 400px on the long side is tiny.

3: of or relating to Indo-Iranian or its speakers

Yes, words can get very twisted by time and the original meaning is lost.

I saw someone on another board use the phrase .. call a spade a spade .. I didn't bother to educated them .. cause I'm sure this person was refering to a playing card .. and not the real meaning of the phrase.

    ..."pornitically-correct?"...

it's unfortunate but some "themes" in order to remain "true" must have the "grit-element" which sometimes requires "the voice" - dune
i do not support "racism" however i do observe "master and servant" but i do not restrict these titles to sex/race/etc. (interpreted: graphic language is a requirement for leather themes to work , anything less is a b*itney spears music video!)

sincerely ~ ..."lady of the night , lady of the night , lady of the night" (interpreted: ho ho ho) :fool:

It's weird ... people want to create a realistic site to give their customers the most believable fantasy possible, and yet "pressure" keeps them reined in so that the fantasy never escapes the realm of fantasy.

I wonder if the "pressure" is more often sparked by a fear of PC-inspired lawsuits, backlash, etc. or if it's simply a site creator/promotor's standard of common decency.

Yes, I agree Space Glider, which was why I "checked" myself here first by asking others what they thought. I certainly didn't want to overreact and go off on a rampage. But it is funny how sometimes we're just not sure where "the line" is and we need to "checK" to see if it's moved.

It's kind of like the straight guys getting their cock sucked sites. I'm not really a big fan. On the one hand I can see that they're titilating -- don't we all want to be in on a guy's first time. On the other hand some sites employ the same couple of guys to do the service work and that almost seems to be verging across the line for me. "Stop by this site and let this faggot suck your cock." That sort of thing. And even though the language is rarely that strong, the sentiment is implied. Of course, there are a few sites out there that actually use the word fag, and I think that's definitely crossed the line.

I also saw another site, My First Negro. Not necessarily offensive, but we haven't used the word Negro since the 60s, maybe early 70s. And I realize that it was probably more a case of a mistranslation since it was a Russian site, or the fact that all the good "black" domains were taken.

Anyway, enough said. I'm hard the most PC person on the planet. I just need to check my thoughts and feelings sometimes with the larger world.

    Cheers
    Michael

No doubt it's rough walking that fine line in this business. Especially when what's taboo and/or highly offensive to some is most-likely marketable sexual turn-on for others.

When it comes to fetish a lot of the society norms are often thrown out the window and you have to re-evaluate the individual scenario. There are a lot of guys who are into uniforms. It might be offensive to someone actually in the military to have his uniform looked upon as a sexual object or he himself as a sexual object in that uniform, but you can't help it from happening. And I know guys who are really into uniforms who are enraptured with the Nazi uniform. Not having anything to do with the actual Nazi movement or anything it stood for. To them, it's just a sexy uniform. Plus, add to the fact that very often people are turned on by that which is taboo. And once you make things such as leather and bdsm your norm, the things that are taboo tend to get a little more extreme.

Take, also, the gay skinhead movement. Most people see a skinhead and immediately thing about the Neo-nazi skinhead movement. The truth is that the original skin movement was based out of blue collar working class youth who needed a way to bond and express themselves. The gay men of those communities were also drawn to that lifestyle as a rebellion against the type of gay male that became the archetype of 60's and 70's homosexuality, overly femme, prissy queens who talked with a lisp and wore flashy clothing. Gay skins were just one of the groups of men who did not identify with what the mainstream view of gay people were. And even today there are a lot of guys who identify as gay skinheads and still others who just like the look and gear up as skins to go to the bar. I was warned once to never do that because people on the street might get the wrong idea about it, but after being in the leather scene for years I know lots of gay skins who don't have a racist bone in their bodies.
