How to remove IE7 add-on?

Does anyone know how to remove an add-on on IE7? Not disable it, I want to delete it and have it redownloaded?

Is it listed in the Add / Remove programs in the Control Panel? If not, did you look at the file directory to see if if has an uninstall program there? What kind of add-on?

No, its not. It's microsoft's dev toolbar.

If you double click on the IEDevToolBarSetup.msi (run the) program, it should ask you if you want to remove it.

Thanks for the suggestion. But that file wasn't on my system. The devtoolbar file is a dll file, and right clicking on it did not give an uninstall option.

Try to download the file and see if that helps. I tested that out - or rather, had the file on my system and when I double clicked it, it asked to remove the program.
