Is Gay Porn Back To Niche Levels?

    http://internet-filter-review.topten...tics.html#time

Looking over the recent figures of internet pornography statistics I became quickly aware that the totals for search terms did not reveal any gay phrases in its search engines. Now I refuse to call any gay content a "niche" - but talking to some webmasters they click thru's and sales of some niche content get less or similar numbers - so its a battle for me.

The figures in the link I questioned - are they simply overlooking the gay presence on the net or is there simply not enough interest world wide for gay porn?

It would be interesting to stack up straight vs. gay porn (head to head so to speak) and see the real numbers over the past few years. There are webmasters out there that demand their sites have both content on it, but soon afterwards when I ask - I find that they comment that very few actually click on the gay links.

My feeling was that either you don't carry both on a website instead creating a unique gay site (which has in itself problems since SOME straight designers find it difficult to understand the differences needed - you simply can't take a straight site and change the text) or that the gay material simply isn't being produced to the level that surfers want.

    any comments?

if you dont want to answer, at least enjoy the pic
