I wanted to get a paysite shot filling this niche ... I did a lot of research, and realised its near impossible, at leaste in the UK

    Here is why:

    1. Despite what you may think, most emo/goths are not gay. They are actually straight, and have weird "gothett" girlfriends . Do some searches on social networking sites, and u will soon start to see a pattern.

    2. Yes, there are a number of gay emo/goth types. The problem is, most of them grow out of this stage by the time they are 18. Most of them are 14- 16 years old, but again there are some who are gay and over 18.

    3. The major hurdle! Goth/Emo types are usually far from "outgoing". The idea of someone seeing them naked would scare this shit outa a lot of them. Gathered this info from friends i have now, and ones when i was at school.

Now sure, you could, like most things, fake this, However its hard. If you want make a normal guy look like a scally/chav.. its easy. Stick him in some sportswear, give him a cap, and off you go with the camera.

Now, if you get a normal guy, and want to make him into a goth/emo, and have it look LEGITIMATE, its a much harder. You can tell if somebody is goth/emo most of the time just by looking at their hair style, and they are usually quite unique. Yes this could be solved by hair wax, or wigs, but its going to be hard to make it look good! There are also other things such as peircings and tatoos, that are a goth thing more than emo.

At the end of the day, im sure it is possible. I could pull it off if i wanted to, but i just wouldnt be happy with the results. If i did it i would want it to be legit, not faked.

If you do find any sites like this please tell me to. Would be a great seller i bet.

    EG: A boy can cry

In a real world setting, Emo is your modern day Beatnik/punk hybrid infused with a hint of goth. (Peter Murphy goth - not Nitzer Ebb Goth)

The chicks have the more streamline Beatnik, coffee house look with a standard of Converse, striped socks, hip hugger jeans with slight flair, baby doll shirt with some kind of anime or video game logo on it, vintage 80's jelly bracelets, short cropped hair (slightly euro trash), a head band and matching elbow band (elbow band made from the stripes of an 80's tube sock and rounded out with a pair of Elvis Costello glasses.

The guys, based on the "emo" type can range from tall, skinny guys with an almost identical look to the emo girls (because gender is not an issue: Boys can cry: so what is I wear my girlfriends jeans) - To - The skater emo who doesn't have the 100% stereotype emo look. They tend to have the more 90's skater look. Baggy Dickeys, modern punk t-shirt warn over a thermal long sleeve, wallet on a chain, Emerica or Adio shoes

Emo and Goth have a lot of the same traits but, have a HUGE slice between them and are not at all the same.

I think finding an emo/goth sponsor sounds like a great idea... I don't know what it is, but some emo/goth boys are freaking hot! Let me know if you find a legit one!

Tons of people say they would promote it - but no one ever builds the sites.

Earlier this evening I had the most interesting ICQ chat with IdolKnights.
We spoke at length about this niche, and the whole 'emo' lifestyle in general.

I have decided, that later in the year, this is going to be a project of mine.
My goal is to have, by the end of the year, the most incredible, emo "twink" site. It wont be your average porn site though. Yes their will be the porn side of it, but im going to concentrate highly on the emo style, their emotional state and individually when it comes to the content, and not just on dick

So if nobody does it before I do, you know where its going to come from :cheerleader:

And if you do make an emo site before I do, you really better put the effort in, because your going to have a lot to compete with! (I used to be emo, now im just a "past emo computer geek")

I hesitated before doing a shameless self-promotion, but I do have two niches within LavenderLounge.com I am calling "Punks" and "Faeries". I only have minimal amounts of content specifically for those galleries right now, but in looking ahead to the types of guys that will be showing up for auditions in San Francisco, it should be easier to fill those niches than "Surfer Twinks". I plan to start advertising for models next month.

Thank you in advance for considering promoting Lavender Lounge. My rev share sign up is at LavenderLounge.biz

Great aht you posted, but this really wasnt about the skater/punk look, which has been done many times. IdolKnights provided an excellent background and discription of emos.... and we are also on goths here.

So here are some image to correct anyone in doubt

This picture is of a band that UK emos LOVE called Fall Out Boy, not exactly 110% emo, but on their way

As for goths, i really cannot think of anyone better than the goth idol MR MASON HIMSELF!

Hope you all feel enlighened a little!
