AdamMale® Acquire Mesmerotic.com affiliate program and gay membership sites

Hey Everyone... If we've seemed a bit distant lately, here is the press release on what has been keeping us so occupied

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

AdamMale® Acquire Mesmerotic.com affiliate program and gay membership sites

Hillsborough, N.C, March 30, 2007 — AdamMale® and PHE, Inc/Adam and Eve. today announced that it has acquired the Mesmerotic.com affiliate program, a provider of top-rated gay membership websites including JustUsBoysClub.com, MaleMovieClub.com, Muchachos.com and AmateurHunks.com. The Mesmerotic.com program and its family of sites will now operate under the AdamMale division of PHE, Inc. after having been created and owned since 2005 by Vibe Media, Inc., best known as the marketing force behind the successful gay community, JustUsBoys.com®.

“By purchasing this well-established suite of gay sites, we will jumpstart AdamMale’s entry into the gay video membership arena. We have a new website that will launch shortly to leverage the custom content management system created by Mesmerotic, but we’re excited that the acquisition of these established properties allows us to enter the gay membership arena with successful sites in full operation”, remarked James Ilsley, Director of Ecommerce for AdamMale.

“We’ve laid the ground work for AdamMale by creating a top-notch content management system, shooting exclusive content, and taking advantage of our relationships with gay webmasters to sign them on as productive affiliates,” states Bryce Thomason, President of Vibe Media, Inc. For the affiliates of Mesmerotic.com and the consumers who belong to the acquired membership sites, the transition will go mostly unnoticed. “We’ve been working on this acquisition for a few months now and we’ve taken extraordinary steps to make sure that affiliates won’t have to make any changes and that payouts will go uninterrupted”, states Mr. Ilsley. “We’ve always had a personal relationship with the members of our sites who think of us as their friends. We know that we’re turning them over to good hands at Adammale. This is a company who pioneered adult entertainment, so we know our members will be well taken care of. We are very excited about the new promotions and features that AdamMale has planned for the sites.” adds Mr. Thomason.

AdamMale looks forward to harnessing the power of their 30+ year old brand, billing relationships, and marketing engine to take the Mesmerotic.com family of sites to the next level. “We have a lot of exciting plans for the Mesmerotic.com affiliates and for the members of these sites. We have a lot of things we can do for both affiliates and members by utilizing all the resources of PHE,” according to Mr. Ilsley.

As for Vibe Media, Inc., its focus will now shift to the marketing and development of their flagship website and other traffic properties in the pipeline. “Our primary business has taken shape as a major provider of gay consumer traffic through the JustUsBoys.com® web community. We’ve enjoyed running the Mesmerotic.com affiliate system, but we’ve discovered that we’re very good at creating and managing traffic. Now we can focus less on paysite content and customer service and put those energies into building more traffic for JustUsBoys.” With an Alexa ranking of 3,500 the JustUsBoys.com® website has become a popular hangout for gay men on the internet who use it as a place to connect to each other and launch their searches for purchasing gay products and services.

While many aspects of the acquisition have already taken place behind the scenes over the last several days, the official date of transfer will be this Sunday, April 1. The event will go off with little fanfare as extra precautions and care have been made to ensure that the transition is smooth. By working closely with Epoch, CCBill, World Wide Content, MaxPixels, XXX Content Direct, NATS, and others, the teams at Adammale and Vibe Media have taken measures to ensure that this exciting event goes off without a hitch. Affiliates should expect announcements regarding special promotions and upgrades to the program within the next month as AdamMale brings its full resources to the table.

AdamMale is the gay marketing arm of PHE, Inc, better known as Adam & Eve®, a company with more than 30 years of experience in providing premium customer satisfaction through its catalog, web and home parties endeavors.

Vibe Media is the marketing company behind the successful JustUsBoys.com gay community website, which made its debut in cyberspace in 1996 under the LinkMeAllOver.ca brand. In addition to its popular website, JustUsBoys.com also publishes the JustUsBoys.com print magazine which is distributed throughout the United States and Canada and available at JUBMag.com.

The JustUsBoys.com, AdamMale, and Adam and Eve names and logos are registered trademarks.

    Absolutely, Darling....

We have a lot planned for both improving the site, maintaining the amazing retention levels and some great things for affiliates. Of course we cannot reveal those details quite yet ;-) Of course we will continue to offer 60% recurring, $30 per sign up. Stay tuned for some other exciting incentives!

    Big news. Quite shocking, actually.

I wish though to point out a minor mistake in your press release:

You did not start linkmeallover in 1996. You purchased it many years later.

    Congratulations on the sale!

I have an idea... why don't you and John retire at an early age and enjoy the rest of the life with pina colada in one hand (and you know what in the other ). :humble:

... thats not a mistake. That statement is absolutly true. If you reread it, it says nothing of when we purchased it at all. It states that linkmeallover made its debut in cyberspace in 1996. That is factual. Just because we bought it years later doesn't mean it didn't exist before

Ya they did not make any of these sites, just paid them off. You guys should know that, they did make JUB but was just make from redirecting traffic.

What’s the old saying about not having to take responsibility for things you did not really create in the first place?

I know I am always alone in these things (at least publicly) but JUB represents more of a threat to us than the religious right wing. Like I said when they supposedly stooped talking out-side links, to offer completely original site designs was BS. And I said they would soon stop taking any outside links before that.

Now are you guys starting to get it (my guess is NO) But if the mentality and business models spreads it will be the downfall of the whole industry. I can only plead with the larger LL and directories not to sell their properties to outsiders. And to please allow the next generation a chance to contribute or even exist. :shithitfan:

Are we as a community really better off now with JUB than we where with linkmeallover?

I honestly can't believe I'm going to respond to you, but I will just because your lies can't stand. Every word you just wrote is a lie. Why do you insist on writing things you know absolutly nothing about. We did not buy any site ever other than linkmeallover.ca. We created our paysites. We registered the domain names and built them up from scratch. You pull facts out of your ass and it's pathetic. All of our paysites were built using a CMS developed by our own programmer. They were built using content we licensed. Go to archive.org or look up the whois history Max.

Even your assertion that we made JUB by redirecting taffic is ludicrous. Again look back at archive.org. This is what the site looked like when we bought it: http://web.archive.org/web/200302160...kmeallover.ca/

The site had all of 8,000 pageviews a day when we bought the thing. It now has well over a million per day. We didn't buy any other sites to make that happen. I'm not going to argue with you as I think everyone here already knows what you are full of, but just for the record.... these are the real facts. You can't just make up things at will Max and write it like its history.

A sincere thank you to everyone else for the well-wishes. We started this process right after Christmas so we've really been pouring a ton of energy in it since then. It's been a lot of hard work but the guys over at adammale are awesome and have been such a pleasure to work with. They have some great things planned for the sites. I think everyone will really enjoy working with these guys. We sure have and look forward to working with them more for a long time to come!

Its Ok man really, you guys do not need my permission, and do not think anyone is really swayed by me. Yet some of this is troubling to me, maybe in the “mal-mart” kind of way. I miss linkmeallover, but I can get over that. I just worry that other directories and LL’s at the first sign of trouble will follow this example, after all that is what one of the Leaders in the industry does.

With all your affiliate program I would think on some level you can see how this could turn out really bad for anyone with out a board of representatives. Not that I have a big problem with “Corporate Porn” but do not want to see a strangle hold on the industry.

As far as the pay sites and other domains and property’s you guys run, your right I have no idea what is going on, and if you got that impression I apologies.

Congratulations, Max. You managed to piss off some of the nicest, easiest people to work with in the business who happen to have a ton of traffic. Another brilliant business move for someone developing a site that will need good affiliates.

Bryce & the rest of the JUB gang... congratulations! It's always nice to see hard work pay off, and I think it's a very wise decision to focus your business in the areas that you're most comfortable with and best at, and selling off the other properties not only keeps you in your core competency, but gives you some extra capital to work with to ensure that you stay on top
