somebody told me that he was not invited to be on the legal panel, but decided to go up there anyway. He did seem like the odd-man on there, not saying much the whole time.

is this true?

Well, if they didn't invite him they should have.

As far as being the "odd" man on the panel...maybe it was "odd" because he wasn't trying to grab the attention, self glorify, self-promote and spread fear and panic.

I was not at this panel, but I was at the GayPhoniexForum one, and he didn't say much there because other people could not shut their mouthes.

I've seen Chad on panels before, and sometimes he's just a lot more polite than the other people on the panel... I remember a very poorly moderated panel at an AVN show where the moderator allowed one or two of the attorneys on the panel to monopolize almost the whole hour and Chad and the other two barely got a word in... while the attorneys doing most of the talking managed to take questions from the audience and avoid providing hardly any useful information during the Q&A.

Ugh. I'd have been that guy in the audience who pointed all of this out. And would probably go down in panel history as "that jerk who kept yelling for the lawyers to tell us something we didn't already know"
