Its Official - We Need To Bomb These Fuckers Back In To The Stone Age...

I was just watching a news segment on BBC news that was talking about the protests in some islamic country about DVDs, VHS tapes and CDs, where they were organizing mass burnings of these things in public to protest how they are losing the 'old ways' of their country.

If these people hate technology so much, we should just bomb the fuckers back in to the stone age and let them live like that.

If they have a natural disaster and need aid, we will send it, but it will be sent how it used to be sent, by paddle boat, taking 2-3 weeks to arrive.

If they want to communicate with the 'Western World' we should give them carrier pigeons.

Technology is bad for these groups but they dont mind using technology (television) to spread their word.

Just bomb them back to the stone age already, they'll end up thanking us

    Regards,

    Lee

Was it a protest against the technology of DVDs and the like, or the kind of content that might be on DVDs that has them fired up?

It was basically a protest about DVDs, books, videos, etc.

Im trying to find a web link but its not listed on the BBC site right now, ill try again in a few minutes.

In essence, these people were complaining that technology is wiping out the 'old' ways of doing things and that the next generation of the culture was being wiped out by television, movies, songs, etc.

I'm not sure retribution against an entire nation or faith is the solution to a protest from a few vocal critics. I'm sure these people don't speak for the majority any more than the religious right speaks for us in this country.

If folks choose not to use technology in their own lives and live according to different principles than us, what makes that any more wrong than us wanting to have the freedom to express ourselves (in a sexual way)?

People from another country could look at some of the right wing religious loonies here and make the same assumptions about the US. The majority of the people who follow Islam are very devout, caring people, and not the loonies you see doing stuff like this, just as probably the majority of Christians in the US are not the looney tunes who want to send every gay person to therapy to be turned straight, or stamp out porn.

There are people in every country who are clinging to the past (and perhaps some with good reason) but condemning them probably doesn't help

I am agnostic, they all seem loony too me. Does not really matter if a large number of people worship a salamander, or a cow they still all sound like nuts to me :haha:

Violence is never the solution. Although that might seem hipocritical coming from me since I run a male punishment website, I have found it to be true.
TropixxxCash.com is a CCBill affiliate program for the male spanking and punishment site TropixxxVIP.com.

It's not about people who just happen to have this Krazy and Zany opinion about DVD's and other digitally recorded media. It's their consistent ideology on how to live every day of your life, treat the world, yourself and others.

However, I'm still surprised how people get outraged over a politician who opposes gays serving openly in the military, or even with Jerry Fallwell when he argues to "hate the sin but love the sinner," yet with fundamentalist Muslims who believe they have the right to kill you because you were born gay they deserve a modicum of respect for their religious beliefs.

It's not a few vocal critics either. If anyone is going to the Amsterdam adult conference later this month, why don't you take a brief tour several kilometers over to the populous Muslim immigrant neighborhoods. (you'll have to find a taxi as their isolated neighborhoods because they are not on the easily accessible subway lines) There you will find attitudes towards gay rights, pornography and other things which you admire about the Netherlands to be the complete opposite here. But they all do live off the country's generous welfare state and marry their families into Dutch citizenship as quickly as possible. Still, just try holding hands with another guy in public over there.

I think they have found an amazing way to play on the Western society's first desire for religious freedom to advance themselves. Now that's our virtue, not theirs. And their hostility to it is dangerous.

why bother to try and get rid of all the books, dvd's, videos, tv, etc... it would be much easier for them to cut the eyes out of their citizens - then there wouldn't be any chance that anyone could see future advancements in technology....!

Ain't that the Truth! I don't know why we can't leve ppl to their own cultures and religions. We have no culture and we are supposed to spread religious freedom.

    Or is it ...

Our way is THE Way? We must bring them Democracy?

How can we do that, when We don't even know what we are pushing?

US of A is a freakin' Republic, not a Democracy.

I'm all for leaving people to their own religions but when they attack us because of their religion, or discriminate against us, then I take issue.

Then again, The U.S. attacked them as well, and discriminates against them so . . .

It's not just a U.S. thing either.. it's all western culture. The Netherlands is under seige right now from the Muslim immigrants as is Briton. Australia has the lovely senior Islamic cleric, Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilali, an immigrant, called on the Muslim world to unite behind the radical Iranian regime and to serve in its "trenches" during a visit to Tehran last weekend. He was also quoted as saying that the global Islamic nation would never "kneel" to its enemies.

The cleric was in Egypt in January and said "Anglo-Saxons came to Australia in chains, while we (Muslims) paid our way and come in freedom. We are more Australian than them," he told Egyptian television.

We have a big problem with Egyptian and Lebanese immigrant muslims here who've gone on television calling australian women pigs and sluts for not covering their bodies. They've also said they will "never bend to the Western way of life", which is odd for an immigrant to say, unless they obviously came here to radically change our society.

Anyway... my feeling is you can do as you please but don't impede on my way of life, which includes coming to the western country I live in and causing riots, spreading hate speech, and threatening innocent people. :shithitfan:

You're right. I'd hate to be blown up because someone I don't know who lives across town is a Britney Spears fan or something.

I for one never understood why we have to "Give them Anything"

Give them aid give them pigeons give them food and medicine wtf are we the do-gooders of the world because we happen to live in a decent country.

What we should give them is and idea... All of them that want to fight about religious issues. Pick a fight with your neighbors and lose your government.
A new order will be established with a new militant gov. the first order of business All religion is forbidden and punishable by DEATH!

All the way back thru time these idiots always want to fight about who's holier than tho and who's god is the right god ....Frankly I'm sick of it ...
No religions Nothing left to fight about :high:
