Would You Ever Move To Another Country If..

The governments fascination with online pornography got so bad you either had to stop selling adult content in the United States or risk jail time?

I have to say this would be a tough call for me, given that ive already left the UK to live in the States and, that my business is currently branching out in to mainstream in a major way, right now, id say i think id be more likely to stop promoting 'adult' than move given how quickly the non-adult side of the business has grown in the past 3-6 months.

So what about the rest of you folks, if you had to make a choice between selling porn, and living in the United States, what would you choose?

I would have to leave, my sites are my life in a big way I can not really see myself doing anything else. Maybe some place like Barbados or a another tropical country with-out a income tax, and almost no net laws on the books

Uhm...

i know somebody how's boyfriend is packing up the papers for an immigration visa for a country far far away and this somebody can't that's why he must rely on a tourist visa for some time.

... I personally have nothing left here where I live - just my boyfriend and he would have a hard time finding a new job in the profession he has...

... but without him I would already be gone to a more liberal and more affordable country - a lot of webmasters from here moved to Spain, Netherlands and Czech Republic

Spain is on my radar whether or not the US gets even worse.

Spain is one of the most liberal European countries especially the area around Barcelona/Sitges. It is a thriving, progressive country and it has lenient immigration laws. Unfortunately, it is not an inexpensive place to live... I would compare the Barcelona real estate market to San Diego. And that is way out of my league at the moment.


Oh, I almost forgot... most importantly, Spanish men are HOT!

Or better yet, why doesn't California annex Baja, California from Mexico? There is lots of CHEAP real estate there and TWO coasts! Mexico is completely wasting that whole peninsula.

Perhaps... but I didn't just suddenly start earning a living with porn over night. It took a long time. How would I pay the bills while I built up my income in mainstream? If adult was banned in the US, I'd need to leave immediately or get a real job. And leaving sounds a hell of a lot more appealing than working 9-5 again!

I moved! To the Yucatan in Mexico and it rocks! I love coming home here after I travel. I live in a really amazing home that I could have never bought if I lived in the states. I am so spoiled with a maid and a cook and a groundskeeper.

The move was easy and the life is great. Why struggle in the USA when you can have a great life in a magical place like the Yucatan. I am not without a thing here..ok Starbucks but I can get that when I travel.

All your hard earned money goes very far here too. The people are wonderful and my maid even knows I am the man with a pussy and she thinks it's amazing!

So anyone interested in the move here let me know..oh ya the city here is so gay. Tons of hot latino gay men. Seems like more american gay men moving here all the time.

I've spent almost as much time living outside of the US as inside of the US already. There are countless countries I'd love to live in for a million different reasons! So, a definite yes!

Yeah, I am all up for moving countries...its a great adventure and opens your mind to new ideas and ways of life. I am planning on living in a few more countries in the coming years, we are currently looking at Argentina or Brazil for the next move :cheerleader:
